Notability edit

Hi Joe. Reliable coverage in reliable independent sources is the basis for article inclusion here. If the article is deleted it can be moved to your userspace and if/ when more substantial coverage occurs it can be recreated. It may be too new and not well established enough at present. Please let me know if I can be of any assistance. ChildofMidnight (talk) 19:13, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the response, could you do me a huge favor and check over the references. I've attempted to include independent sources, especially in the Franz Nicolay part. If they shouldn't be there, would you let me know or delete them.

Thanks a lot Joe hockey14 (talk) 21:20, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I don't see any independent sources with substantial coverage of the publication. The Franz Nicolay source looks like a story he did in another publication. ChildofMidnight (talk) 04:54, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Please review the relevant guidelines: WP:N and WP:CORP. You will see that to establish notability, you will need to demonstrate that the subject has received significant coverage in reliable sources (see WP:RS) that are independent. All three prongs of the test must be established. So,
  • passing coverage in an independent reliable source;
  • detailed coverage in a reliable sources that is not independent; or
  • detailed coverage in a source not deemed reliable (even if independent)
do not establish notability. Hope that's of some help. Bongomatic 04:56, 3 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
