August 2020 edit

Hi Joe feyzullah! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Babur that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Wikis as a source edit

Hi. Do note that you cannot use any wiki as a source (see WP:UGC). --RegentsPark (comment) 12:17, 28 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Wiktionary is not a wiki and this is not an excuse for persian pov vandalism.--Joe feyzullah (talk) 14:32, 28 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
A direct quote from Wiktionary's home page: Wiktionary is a wiki. Like Wikipedia, anybody can edit it, and so it can't be considered a reliable source here.
Please remember that this is a collaborative project and remain civil. RegentsPark politely asked you to provide a source and explained why the one you added couldn't be used. Calling his clearly good faith edits "POV" and "vandalism" is at best inaccurate and could be seen as a personal attack. – Joe (talk) 14:42, 28 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Here check first section. https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wiktionary:What_Wiktionary_is_not No sir I'm talking about a general persian wiki policy not about him.--Joe feyzullah (talk) 14:46, 28 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
It is not Wikipedia; it is a wiki. We can't use it as a source per WP:UGC. And this isn't the Persian Wikipedia, so I'm not sure how that has any relevance to your comments about RegentsPark's edits. Perhaps you didn't realise that you were addressing him? In which case please be aware that edit summaries (viewable under "edit history") are one of the most important ways we communicate on Wikipedia. – Joe (talk) 19:09, 29 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Altay Bayatlı moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Altay Bayatlı, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Your draft article, Draft:Altay Bayatlı edit

Hello, Joe feyzullah. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Altay Bayatlı".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 01:59, 29 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
