As of October 2013, Madonna had sold an estimated 305,600,000 albums. edit

Madonna

Madonna (USA, b. Madonna Ciccone) is the Best-selling female recording artist, having sold more than 300 million albums in her career since debuting with her self-titled release in 1983.

As of October 2013, Madonna had sold an estimated 305,600,000 albums. Her best-sellers are The Immaculate Collection (1990, 30 million copies sold) and True Blue (1986, 25 million copies sold).

Although precise sales figures are difficult to obtain and are often disputed, it is acknowledged that only The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson have conclusively sold more albums worldwide than Madonna.

Five Music edit

Please stop adding Five Music chart positions. It is not the official chart of Taiwan, nor even an official chart as far as I'm aware. G-Music is more widely used on Wikipedia. Ss112 13:33, 16 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Another article containing something does not make it right. It also violates the one retailer section of WP:CHART. Please read that page. Your linking to Joanne (album) does not prove it's official. Ss112 13:38, 16 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
Jjavier1978 please note I have removed 5music from Joanne. Please do not add it to any article. Your additions anyways caused a lot of trouble in the article and it broke it completely. I had to rollback a couple of times. If you do not know how to edit then please raise a request at the talk page. —IB [ Poke ] 16:48, 16 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Chart additions edit

Hi. Can you not be annoying and add charts mere seconds before me? You literally copied the Irish chart reference I typed up, probably because you saw it on other pages, clearly knowing that somebody had already been doing that chart's updates, and then you go and add it to other articles. It was already about to be done. It's annoying to just jump ahead of somebody and do this, especially copying a reference you didn't even write. Ss112 14:37, 22 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from World Soundtrack Academy to List of awards and nominations received by Madonna (your addition has since been removed). While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. If you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. — Diannaa 🍁 (talk) 11:34, 8 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

November 2018 edit

Your addition to Sì (Andrea Bocelli album) has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. @Diannaa: You warned Jjavier1978 in August for copying within Wikipedia without attribution. They appear not to have any qualms about copying content from other websites to Wikipedia either. Seems to be a recurring problem. Ss112 22:24, 4 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Michael Buble Nobody But Me.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Michael Buble Nobody But Me.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
