Hi and welcome to the wikiproject Japan. With your interest in linguistics and history I was wondering if you'd be interested to help with this little project, in particular with the intro(s) to List of National Treasures of Japan (writings). Basically what is needed is a general intro (not too long) on the history of writing in Japan and some shortish intros to each of the sections ("Buddhist writings", "Books bound in the Japanese style (和書)",...). Don't worry, I am not asking you to write all these intros and it is not at all urgent either. Any help (also comments, suggestions,...) would be appreciated. I'd still need to read a lot about the subject before I could write anything meaningful. The general intro could look somewhat like that in List of National Treasures of Japan (ancient documents) (which I wrote some time ago) for instance. bamse (talk) 18:29, 25 November 2010 (UTC)Reply
