Blanking / Redirecting

While I completely agree that Rose would have easily walked into the HOF if there were no betting controversy, I'm wondering if the statement that you added to the Big Red Machine article should have a source. I'm not reverting, and I'm not going to flag it for a source, but just to give you a heads up that if that statement is challenged, you might want to add a reliable source. Yahoo Logo

I saw that you edited the Yahoo! page with the logo that is present on their site on August 7, 2013. This is not their "new" logo. They will be having a different logo every day until they announce their new logo on September 4, 2013. See this article for more information. I beg to disagree - you have been on wikipedia long enough to realise that some parts of the overall place go very slow - and you would have seen a few of the messages in your time - there is no deadline - and please your everyone calls is totally misfired as far the potential diversity of cultures that are on wikipedia - one view from one part of the states is not how wikipedia works. I will wait to see what happens at death project or a potential Review of the move. Sorry about that but if you had read the talk page carefully enough you would have seen it has all been through before. To resurrect something like this again with everybody knows something as something is insufficient to prevent a review of the move. satusuro 07:24, 15 October 2013 (UTC)

The Nexus (professional wrestling)

Although well-written, I have to disagree with the idea of posting the 'Legacy' section of the article. For one thing, the article is meant to talk about the Nexus as a group and what they did during their time together. Adding in what happened to them after that time opens the door to more and more and more additions as each member either wins titles, gets released, gets a new gimmick, etc., and that only muddies up the article and bogs it down with unnecessary information. If the reader really wants to know what each member ended up doing after Nexus, they can easily navigate to their respective articles. The various trivia facts are unnecessary, such as mentioning how Daniel Bryan is almost a Grand Slam Champion and that Curtis Axel and Curt Hennig are the first father-son duo IC champions.

There also seems to be some slight NPOV issues in the form of (unintentional or not) weasel wording. There's no way to gauge any of their successes based off of them being in Nexus at all. Just because they were in the Nexus doesn't mean it made them popular or served as 'launching pads' for their careers. Saying that Ryback's character is a 'similar style' to Goldberg is opinion only. Bill Goldberg himself weighed in on the matter some time ago and denied his character is similar to Ryback. Your citation comes from an opinion piece as well. I completely dislike the last paragraph due to the fact that it states Otunga and Mason Ryan haven't been seen in some time, which is very unnecessary and to avoid excessive jargon such as 'face' and 'jobbers.'

All in all, there's no reason for a section to 'keep tabs' on future events each wrestler is a part of. Other, more notable stables and tag teams do not have this kind of section in their article either. In my opinion, I would rather just delete the entire section but for now I've removed the trivia bits, particularly what was put in parenthesis. Antoshi ☏ ★ 18:18, 28 October 2013 (UTC)
