Thank you. I had two initial questions. Do you have any recommendations for standards to review? I am looking over the ten things (I) you may not know about Wikipedia and also Wikipedia:About. Also, where do I look to at what level an article is at? This refers to being able to bring up an an article to "feature" status. You signed it perfectly. I added a ":" (colon) before your answer so it would indent; that's useful to do -- you can see above that it makes it easier to see who's responding to what comment.

I'd say two good things to look at are the five pillars of Wikipedia, and the good article criteria -- it's a good idea to get an article to "good" status before going for "featured" status.

Even more straightforwardly, here's what you need to know about adding content: content has to be neutral, it should be cited to a reliable source, and it can't be copied from somewhere else. There's more to know about exactly how Wikipedia defines "reliable source", but your instincts are probably good enough to get started, particularly in an area where you are expert. If you add material that is neutrally phrased and reflects the sources well, you're in great shape. I can help with formatting and so on; don't worry about that sort of thing -- you'll pick up what you need as you go. Have you thought of an article you'd like to work on yet? Mike - thank you. I will have plenty to read this weekend. Yes, I have thought of an article. A few that I saw include the Texas State Capitol, Georgetown Public Policy Institute and Fort Ward.
