Speedy deletion nomination of Ramadan Ramadani edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Ramadan Ramadani requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. andy (talk) 13:26, 22 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Removing Speedy at Ramadan Ramadani edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Ramadan Ramadani, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. - SDPatrolBot (talk) 17:56, 22 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Ramadan Ramadani edit

The article Ramadan Ramadani has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability per WP:ARTIST

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. andy (talk) 09:20, 23 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Copyrights and paintings edit

Okay, first: I think it's fairly clear that you are related to Ramadan Ramadani -- most likely, he was your father. We discourage people from creating articles about their immediate relatives due to the potential for conflict of interest, but you've done a good job.

Second, there is the question of copyright to his paintings. I note that you have uploaded three images of his paintings to the Wikimedia Commons. I'm not sure you fully realize what this implies. The Commons is for images which are copyright-free. I'm going to assume that you are his sole legal heir and that therefore you own the copyright to all his paintings...

...but are you 100% sure that you want to release that copyright, to make these three images public domain? If you look at the "PD-heirs" tag on Commons, the exact wording is: "The heirs of the creator grant anyone the right to use this work for any purpose, without any conditions, unless such conditions are required by law."

If you are still willing to have these images be Public Domain, then you must go to your Commons account and add {{PD-heirs}} to each of them, and specify that you are his son (or daughter, or nephew, or however it is that you are related to him).

If not, all you need to do is wait, and the images will be deleted because you did not provide the correct copyright tag (you marked them as "own work", but they are not your work, they are his work; all you did was take a photograph of them). DS (talk) 13:11, 23 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Ryan Reynolds edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not include unsupported or inaccurate statements. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Ryan Reynolds, you must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for guidelines. Thank you. --Ebyabe (talk) 18:58, 24 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Dren Abazi edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dren Abazi, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. →Στc. 19:42, 22 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

October 2011 edit

Please do not remove speedy deletion notices from pages you have created yourself, as you did with Dren Abazi. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Click here to contest this speedy deletion, which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the article's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the article. Thank you. January 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you.
