Facebook posts can be misleading and cannot be considered reliable. AarushSinha10 (talk) 06:00, 4 October 2023 (UTC)

Please keep article content discussion in a central place, the article's talk page at Talk:Navadurga. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 14:06, 4 October 2023 (UTC)

Hi

I think you deleted some important information such as Privy Court case information which was highly supported by Sufi Saint and pirs of Sind book. SaneFlint (talk) 05:59, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

Hi SaneFlint, Sufi Saints and State Power book is not reliable per WP:RAJ Jeraxmoira (talk) 06:01, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
they have references the most:) and some other books as well SaneFlint (talk) 06:05, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
Any book that is written by a British author during and after Raj Era are considered unreliable. And please do not create multiple reply threads. Jeraxmoira (talk) 06:13, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
I get it and there are more sources from non British writer SaneFlint (talk) 06:16, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
Any source/book published during Raj era will not be accepted unless it has scholarly articles peer reviewing it. Jeraxmoira (talk) 06:18, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
Yes and these books were published after Raj era:)) as well SaneFlint (talk) 06:20, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
'During and after' is what I tried to convey. Any content that you want to add from a book should be peer reviewed. Jeraxmoira (talk) 06:33, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
Yes I understand you're right on this.
can you help me with some advanced templates? SaneFlint (talk) 06:34, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
WP:Teahouse will be the right place. And kindly take all the conversation w.r.t the article to the article talk page Talk:Sayyid Ihsanullah Shah Rashdi Jeraxmoira (talk) 06:36, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

heritage.eftsindh.com/site/992/matiari/pir-jhando SaneFlint (talk) 11:31, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
(talk page stalker) That looks like a user edited website so would NOT be considered reliable. Theroadislong (talk) 11:45, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
Yes, if you see their about page, it clearly mentions that the information is crowdsourced and also at the bottom of the article it is mentioned Source: Sufi Saints and State Power The Pirs of Sindh 1843-1947. As discussed already, the book falls under WP:RAJ. Jeraxmoira (talk) 11:48, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
Yes I won't add those links which you reject. I won't let you down no worries. I will try to stay out of it and will ask you before doing anything SaneFlint (talk) 11:51, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
that book First published in January 31, 1992is it considered to fall under WP:RAJ? just asking to be sure) SaneFlint (talk) 11:58, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
The author and publisher are British. Jeraxmoira (talk) 12:16, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
I get it. anything I'll post will be asking you first then will post. I don't want any misunderstanding anymore. I appreciate your stance. I'll follow suggestions and feedbacks to improve myself. I'm still getting to know already learned many things thanks to you guys. SaneFlint (talk) 12:21, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

also here is mentioned about well known Privy court case {{http://archive.org/details/6.syedAhsan}} SaneFlint (talk) 06:09, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
You wouldn't need that book if the same is available on the above link. Jeraxmoira (talk) 06:10, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
both are different books. this one mentions more information about Ihsanullah rashdi
you can check and assist me with Privy Case information please:) SaneFlint (talk) 06:13, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
I won't be able to assist you here, sorry. Jeraxmoira (talk) 06:14, 27 November 2023 (UTC)

with due respect. I don't know if I have bothered you with anything still I'm here for apologies. I want you and other seniors to help me and other community members with full support. I can assure you references + citations doesn't lie and are 100% genuine I can provide you real books which I have in my own hand they show same information. also I can show you things if you want to see to be sure. everything is real i removed praise type article it was difficult for me due to English not being my first language. really it took me over 5 days to work on things I'm here to contribute and expend Wikipedia more🙂 SaneFlint (talk) 09:04, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
I want to make some things clear first. A editor cannot be helped if he is not willing to listen and follow-through with the suggestions from other editors! Not all references and citations are 100% genuine, some examples can be found at WP:RAJ. Only scholarly peer reviewed journals are accepted as BLP is from Raj era. Well done with removing the praise, but it was just a small part of the problem. It really does not matter how many days you took to work on this draft as no one is on a deadline here. And I don't think your main purpose is to contribute, I see no others edits of yours on other articles. Jeraxmoira (talk) 09:34, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
I am willing to hear the suggestions that's why I have improved a lot from the feedbacks of you guys. Also my next topic page will be made later which is also about a religious figure. my aim is to create English pages which helps people to read in English though urdu and sindhi are easily available for such topics. You can go through urdu wikipedia, there will be such topics available. SaneFlint (talk) 09:39, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
I'm all the way here to listen your suggestion I will work on them I will really improve things and won't let anyone down. promise. SaneFlint (talk) 09:40, 27 November 2023 (UTC)
thanks for pointing out numeral errors.

User4edits, When you can verify that Dr. Preeti Bajaj is the Vice-Chancellor, you can add it back. Until then, it will be archived in the edit history. The source cited does not mention her name. Jeraxmoira (talk) 05:17, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

Google translate or yandex translate ? SaneFlint (talk) 17:48, 11 December 2023 (UTC)
I don't think I'll be okay with any of your translations, given the way you interpreted the quote on Badi' ud-Din Shah al-Rashidi [1]. Jeraxmoira (talk) 17:56, 11 December 2023 (UTC)

Rizwan Sajan

Hey, thanks for your contribution on the article, I need more of your help on the Stub tags you added on the talk page. iVickyChoudhary (talk) 06:55, 15 December 2023 (UTC)

Thanks a lot for more contributions you just made. Always looking for guidance for experienced people like you. iVickyChoudhary (talk) 07:04, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
I see from your userpage that you own a media agency and suspect a 'undisclosed paid' to have created that article. To make it clear, I am not helping you but only trying to save Rizwan Sajan from AfD as he is notable. I would suggest you to not make any more edits on that article rather go through WP:COIREQ and make only edit requests to it. Happy Editing <3 Jeraxmoira (talk) 07:15, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
@Jeraxmoira That's not media AGENCY, it's a news media company and we run a cricket news website under the name of it. Someone unnecessarly adding AGENCY word with it. iVickyChoudhary (talk) 07:21, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
And sure I'll keep these things in mind, will not make any changes anymore on this article. Thanks <3 iVickyChoudhary (talk) 07:24, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
I am not sure what you mean by that. An article is a WP:STUB when its deemed too short and incomplete to provide encyclopedic coverage of a subject. Though I feel it does not fall under the stub category at this point. Jeraxmoira (talk) 07:12, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
Someone added Stub class tags on the talk page of the article. iVickyChoudhary (talk) 07:22, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
I added it. Feel free to change/remove it, if you think otherwise. Cheers Jeraxmoira (talk) 07:30, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
If you think this isnt stub then please remove it yourself. :D iVickyChoudhary (talk) 08:26, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
@Jeraxmoira What's about removal of Afd tag ? iVickyChoudhary (talk) 11:15, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
Please see WP:CLOSEAFD. At this point, I don't think the article will be deleted. Jeraxmoira (talk) 12:48, 16 December 2023 (UTC)
I'm talking about that tag on top of article iVickyChoudhary (talk) 12:38, 17 December 2023 (UTC)

Hi بافلي مجدي, The article is completely unsourced except for the last section. You can add the Arabic sources to show notability, please see WP:THREE and WP:NACTOR. Jeraxmoira (talk) 16:09, 21 December 2023 (UTC)

I believe they both are different people. User:Cyber.Eyes.2005 has been active from 10 August 2023 and sane flint from 27 November 2023. I don't think they are related apart from being from the same country. Jeraxmoira (talk) 19:29, 26 December 2023 (UTC)

Will you once check the authenticity of the page Nutan (actor)?

Nutan (actor) page has been nominated for deletion . I think it's a misunderstanding. You can check his notability requirement. Thanks! Besides, I have myself watched his stage works (plays) and series. 111.119.49.157 (talk) 15:06, 27 December 2023 (UTC)

In Banke Chamar, you have removed the image without explanation just for your own POV. Don't do this again. LampVimmW (talk) 18:05, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

My explanation is on the edit summary. The image has realistic hair and lips. Looks AI optimized and you have restored the edit with unsourced content. Your next revert will be reported at WP:AIV. Jeraxmoira (talk) 18:10, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
Yes, that was AI edited image by me. Can we not use AI edited images? LampVimmW (talk) 18:13, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
I don't think you can use AI generated images on biographies. Jeraxmoira (talk) 18:16, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
It does not matter what you think. If it is in Wikipedia's policy, mention it, otherwise you need to restore the image.
And also, it is not an AI Generated, it is only AI Improved image that could be used.
Thank you. LampVimmW (talk) 18:22, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
I'm adding the image until you clarify your uncertain claim. Don't report it, discuss on my Talk page first.
Thank you. LampVimmW (talk) 18:59, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

Arun Matheswaran

See what you can add from this. It talks about his filmmaking style, influences and favourite directors. Kailash29792 (talk) 14:06, 7 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi Kailash29792, nice find! Thank you for sharing. However, I don't feel like working on it anymore as I just wanted to start something for Arun Matheswaran so others can help improve it. I'm currently working on getting Tirru to GA(though it's a long way ahead) and Ravi K. Chandran(yet to start). It would be great if you could help me with it. Addition of Records to the page of Parul Chaudhary

I added the results and the reference has been mentioned in external links as well. I will move it towards references section now (Faith Kipyegon - Wikipedia) I used the this page as a point of reference.

Thank You@Jeraxmoira! AR98211 (talk) 19:43, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

Hey @AR98211, you can proceed to undo my revert and build further on it. Do provide an edit summary on each your edits so other editors may not revert them for possible unreferenced additions to BLP. Jeraxmoira (talk) 19:50, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

Your recent Prod

Hello, Just letting you know I deproDed Annie (Telugu actress). She might be notable considering the awards she received. -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 13:37, 9 September 2023 (UTC)

Hey @Mushy Yank, that makes sense. I guess that's how it passed the AfC. Is there any guideline that I can look into with respect to awards? Please advise, thanks <3 Jeraxmoira (talk) 20:11, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
Hello again, thanks for the reply; yes, awards are briefly mentioned here for example. But then, unless it's a Grammy Award or Nobel Prize, for instance, one might ask: What is a "well-known and significant award"; that is the question. In general, I think that users agree that if the award is part of a notable festival or ceremony (or/and has itself received some sort of coverage, which may amount to just the same), it is enough to help establish notability. Here, I'd say the Nandi Award unquestionably is well-known and significant. But if the award is really significant, in general, coverage follows somehow. Cheers. -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 20:26, 9 September 2023 (UTC)
Thank you for the explanation. Does that mean I can create articles for all the people listed on 69th National Film Awards? I feel there is a loophole that can be exploited here! Jeraxmoira (talk) 19:52, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
Hello,
I would say that it depends on what you call "listed". If it is an individual award that was won by that person and you can provide sources, I'd say yes, absolutely.
Example: Best director, Nikhil Mahajan, is obviously absolutely OK. (And I am sure he received coverage for that, anyway). Paint it blue. (and if you check all the recipients so far have their pages)
Example 2: Niraj Kumar Mishra, Atul Pandey, producers of a film that won the award. If it's just this, I'd say no. Stays black or red.
Other users might not share my views and challenge the importance of certain awards, so maybe ask at the talk page of the Project Film or Project India if you have real doubts.
PS-I don't think this is exploiting a loophole, I do hope it is following the letter and spirit of the guidelines, rather. Unless you meant to exploit the time between the announcement of winners and the ceremony? Sure.
PS2-(ping me if you wish me to know you replied, please) -My, oh my! (Mushy Yank) 15:38, 16 September 2023 (UTC)

Kerala Super League

Hi!

In the future, please don’t claim that the article fails GNG and SIGCOV until you’ve at least done a simple Google search. As I understand it, WP:PRODNOM implies at least a subset of WP:BEFORE.

Such a use of the PROD process, even though done in good faith, is extremely concerning.

Thanks, RadioactiveBoulevardier (talk) 18:17, 10 September 2023 (UTC)

Hey RadioactiveBoulevardier, The page was created by a sock user, Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Bibin996/Archive. Per WP:EVASION, instead of G5 CSD, I only ProDed the article. Before that, I did a search here [2] which returned with a single news article. There was also a Tea house discussion that happened regarding the article, where I mentioned "Feel free to make a redirect if anyone thinks otherwise" [3]. I have made a lot of articles from being unreferenced for years to referenced ones, so I do have an idea of how this works.
The good thing is, the CSE I am using has some RS restrictions placed I guess, that's why the other relevant articles didn't show up on my search. Safe to say that I wont be using this CSE anymore. Also, I did a simple google search now, which only had 5 short articles with 3 Press releases, so my point still stands. I think you are confusing Indian Super League and Kerala Blasters FC with Kerala Super League. No offence meant anywhere <3 happy editing <3 Jeraxmoira (talk) 19:42, 10 September 2023 (UTC)

Undisclosed paid tag on Rizwan Sajan

Hey, you have placed Undisclosed paid tag on my article Rizwan Sajan with mentioning that I'm working for an media agency, I want to clarify that's it's not an media agency, it's my own news media company(we run cricket news website under it) you can check it on google search. It has nothing to do with media agency work.

This thing creating confusion regarding my contributions on wikipedia in the past,so I'm providing proper info about the work of my company which has nothing do to with agency work etc. Hope you will understand my point and remove the tag. Thanks iVickyChoudhary (talk) 19:22, 22 December 2023 (UTC)

Even it's already mentioned there "Now I am CTO of one of Biggest Cricket Website CricSpirit.com under Optimal Square Media Pvt. Ltd.". iVickyChoudhary (talk) 19:23, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
To clarify, Rizwan Sajan is not your article. The "undisclosed paid" tag does not state that you are working for a media agency. Jeraxmoira (talk) 19:34, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
But you mention that media agency work while placing the tag. iVickyChoudhary (talk) 18:42, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
