December 2022 edit

  Hi Jennie Rosaline Arockiaraj! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor at Home Movie Makers that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Archer1234 (talk) 16:10, 17 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Home Movie Makers. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Archer1234 (talk) 16:12, 17 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello @Jennie Rosaline Arockiaraj. I am @Archer1234. As expressed above, it is not apparent to me that Home Movie Makers is, according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines,a notable organization. That is why I added the {{notability}} tag to the article. To help with evaluating its notability, I have opened a new topic at Talk:Home_Movie_Makers#Notability where evidence can be presented. I invite you to participate in the discussion there to share your views and cite sources to help decide its notability. Thank you. — Archer1234 (talk) 16:26, 17 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hello again @Jennie Rosaline Arockiaraj. I understand that you believe that Home Movie Makers is notable. You may be right, and I am willing and ready to evaluate that claim in good faith. But the way to help decide this is to discuss it with fellow editors and not edit-war over the article. While it is good to use the edit summary for each edit, communicating only through edit summaries is not the best way to resolve disagreements or answer questions. I have opened a discussion topic at Talk:Home_Movie_Makers#Notability where you can state your case and provide evidence that Home Movie Makers is notable, and we (and, perhaps, other editors) can discuss further and reach a consensus on the matter. The opening message in that discussion topic explains the criteria for evaluating sources for notability, including the use of reliable sources. Per WP:Communication is required I encourage you to participate in the discussion. Thank you. — Archer1234 (talk) 18:47, 17 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Home Movie Makers, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted.

IMDb is *not* a reliable source for this information (see WP:IMDB, WP:IMDB/RS and WP:IMDB-EL).

Hi Archer, I know edit - war was not professional. I don’t know how to use the talk box. I hope the message I type here is the correct way to reply (Only after Submission I might know) Anyways I appreciate your concern and time
I finally learnt how to reply here Archer. I am a new contributor and a employ of HMM. Sorry about the edit-war, I dint know any other means to communicate here. I have just started learning things here. I will submit my statement in the page you created. Thank you Archer Jennie Rosaline Arockiaraj (talk) 08:09, 18 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
Hello again, @Jennie Rosaline Arockiaraj. Firstly, I want to thank you for replying and offer my congratulations for figuring out how to use the talk page. Wikipedia can be daunting and confusing for new users, so I understand that learning about how best to use the system may take some time. Here is a link to guide that explains fully how to use talk pages: Help:Talk_pages. I encourage you to read that to learn more about how best to use them. I see from your edits that sometimes you are editing through the mobile interface. You may find the mobile interface to be less intuitive and clear when editing pages and using talk pages. You may want to access Wikipedia through a desktop browser where you will gain full access to the features of the system and which better support use of talk pages. If you need help you can ask at the WP:Help Desk or at the WP:Teahouse.
Secondly, and more importantly, since you are an employee of HMM, you need to read and follow the Conflict of Interest guidelines, including:
  • you must disclose who is paying you, on whose behalf the edits are made, and any other relevant affiliation;
  • you should make the disclosure on your user page, on affected talk pages, and whenever you discuss the topic;
  • you are strongly discouraged from editing affected articles directly;
  • you may propose changes on talk pages by using the {{request edit}} template or by posting a note at the COI noticeboard, so that they can be peer reviewed;
  • you should put new articles through the Articles for Creation (AfC) process instead of creating them directly;
  • you must not act as a reviewer of affected article(s) at AfC, new pages patrol or elsewhere;
  • you should respect volunteers by keeping discussions concise (see WP:PAYTALK).
Read the rest of the guidelines at WP:COI. Note that saying you have a conflict of interest (COI) is not a judgment about your opinions, integrity, or good faith, but editing with a COI can undermine public confidence about the articles and risks causing public embarrassment to the individuals and companies being promoted.
Since you have a COI, I want to let you know that I will be tagging the HMM article and its talk page to note that edits have been made there by an editor with a COI. Please do not remove that tag, which will remain until another editor with no COI reviews the edits to be sure there is no promotion of HMM. — Archer1234 (talk) 10:11, 18 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

As previously advised, your edits give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:Jennie Rosaline Arockiaraj, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Jennie Rosaline Arockiaraj|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. Theroadislong (talk) 13:19, 18 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

You sate above that " I am a new contributor and a employ of HMM". Theroadislong (talk) 08:42, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
The Road is long, Your reference was that you got an impression by seeing the article which is as fake as your name. You should have Said that being an HMM employ you ended up in a conclusion. Look I was just learning how to create articles, celebrity will get a profile by any contributor anyhow. I have no worries in it. I am not a full time Wikipedia editor/contributor like you people. My work is different and the purpose to disclose while contributing was to prove the reliability about the source. Adding a Tag that I am a full time paid contributor is like having a fake name which according to me is a act of self degradation. Warning edit

You have stated above that you are employ of HMM. You must fully comply with WP:PAID in your very next edit. This is mandatory and non-negotable. You must defer to more experienced volunteer editors, or things will not end well for you. Cullen328 (talk) 08:57, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

Cullen, when I am paid for an article. I would definitely. I am employ for different job and I write here to learn how things works. I disclosed to assure the reliability. This is all I can try to make you full timers to understand that I am not the one who is paid here. Jennie Rosaline Arockiaraj (talk) 09:33, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

I am responding to him, but the original name profile "The road is long" is too short in understanding things. He is increasing the warning without a proper explanation which is actually a misuse. Let me complaint on your profile "The road is log" Jennie Rosaline Arockiaraj (talk) 09:31, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply
WP:PAID says "Users who are compensated for any publicity efforts related to the subject of their Wikipedia contributions are deemed to be paid editors, regardless of whether they were compensated specifically to edit Wikipedia." You are employed by Home Movie Makers so you are deemed to be a paid editor and you must make the required disclosure on your user page. Theroadislong (talk) 11:25, 23 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Shakeela—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 10:06, 25 December 2022 (UTC).Reply

Mr. Material Scientist, I don’t know if you are talking sense. I corrected the wrong spelling of the Page Shakeela which needs to be Shakila. If you call it as paid edit stupidly then you are a crazy tyranny to wikipedia. I wonder how stupid all the senior editors are

Blocked edit

As you are unwilling to disclose your conflict of interest, as required by WP:COI and as requested multiple times, and as you have repeatedly made personal attacks in violation of WP:NPA, I have blocked you indefinitely. WP:GAB explains how to contest your block. As the blocking admin, I'd want to see you commit to disclosing your conflict of interest, refraining from any further editing in that subject area, and committing to refrain from any further personal attacks. -- Yamla (talk) 11:38, 31 December 2022 (UTC)Reply

What do you mean by unwilling to disclose, among all these fake profile Name people like you, I gave the proper details. What do you expect more I don't know, I am not a money monger here like you people. I am only contributing details that I know. You want to block because you are not sure If I am earning like you people by submitting data here. Moving an article to draft just because you dont like the person who wrote it is also pointing your mistakes. This shows how cheap you people are Yamla. Yeah go cry with Wikipedia and feel powerful. It is a personal advice as well. Grow up and let grow the platform. Whatever, I have better work than all of you. Jennie Rosaline Arockiaraj (talk) 11:48, 13 February 2023 (UTC)Reply
