- Janagewen: Really, it's ok. Relax!
- When you come into WP as a newcomer you are entering a community that has a large number of nearly immutable rules ("policies"); a much larger number of recommended rules ("guidelines"); probably an equal number of "essays" giving opinions on what guidelines ought to exist, PLUS a lot of unwritten expectations. Nobody is expected to absorb all this stuff and not make any mistakes in their first week, or even their first few months. When someone points out "hey, you shouldn't have done x," just say "ok, sorry, I didn't know." Or not, as you prefer.
- It's helpful at such times to read any WP policy or guideline pages that might have been mentioned in the complaint, as they will tell you why the rule is there, and the collection of these gives you a good insight into the WP culture.

Hello, this is Janagewen. I don't know why suddently so many strange people against me including administrator and you. I don't know why I listed you in my not welcome list, maybe I am too foolish to do it. If for this thing, I say sorry million times. But please do me a favor not let those people list my IP address onto my own talk page, that would ruin my life. For all the improper words I said to you, I do apologize. I've never wanted to bring you troubles.

This is just a courtesy note to inform you that I have reformatted the references that you provided to your recent post at Talk:Cathode ray tube. Recent changes to the way in which the Wiki interface handles references has meant that using the traditional <ref> ... </ref> method is no longer appropriate for talk pages. Wiki now automatically displays the reflist at the bottom of the talk page without the usual {{reflist}} tag. This means that as soon as someone else starts another topic, the references become orphaned and erroneously appear to relate to the new discussion.

Date format in Linux articles
Hello! Any chances, please, for you to have a look at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Software § Date format in release history sections of Linux articles and possibly comment there by providing your point of view? The whole thing is pretty much poorly discussed with only a few editors actually discussing it, while it seems to be affecting more than a few articles (and the date format seems to be extending beyond the tables into references, please see history of the Linux distribution article).
