DW-link

I have talked to the engineer who designed this system. We both agree that the DW-link article I wrote should not be kept public, at least until the physics are properly verified. I feel I have freedom to destroy any work I produce myself. I have used the deletion template as I was unaware of it before. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Edmundhall (talkcontribs) 06:06, 18 July 2009 (UTC)

List of World War II electronic warfare equipment

Thanks for re-instating the edits (Ping-pong, etc) I made. I suppose the names might sound a bit unlikely but that was the original idea. Apologies for giving you that 'rocket' earlier! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.40.254.31 (talk) 10:00, 19 July 2009 (UTC)

Editing of Nerf war article

Should I be waiting for a reply to the comment I posted at the front of this article? 97.101.158.69 (talk) 20:21, 23 July 2009 (UTC)

Fort Whoop-Up

Hi i am the person changing the Fort Whoop-Up (Hamilton) Page.

I am the senior site host and am working with out historian to remove incorrect information on the page regarding the site that we interpret. Just thought I would let you know that these changes are not acts of vandalism, but attempts at correcting information that is incorrect on the page.

If you do see any problems with the changes I am making please, let me know, and I will justify and explain the changes I have made! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fekas23 (talkcontribs) 19:47, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

Dispute

Please stop some Vandals to wage personal attack against living individual as it was case at article about Darko Trifunovic. Plese see how impolite is to delete well supported citation and quotation referring Christian victims of Muslim Terror in Srebrenica. http://real-srebrenica-genocide.blogspot.com/ —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.189.247.150 (talk) 01:52, 25 July 2009 (UTC)

Jebusite

Jebusite

Using the term "conquest" makes a judgment that King David actually "conquered" Jerusalem, rather than co-opting its management, as the Jebusite Hypothesis (in this Article) suggests. For that reason, "occupation" is a more neutral word and seems preferable, although perhaps still other words might be better (and if so, please suggest).

The lack of any information (even Biblical) asserting massacre of the inhabitants suggests peaceful occupation (or even making an offer that the management couldn't refuse--such as steak dinners forever for Zadoq/Araunah and his descendants in exchange for nominal substitution of "Yahweh" for "El Elyon" as alternative to massacre). Therefore, I propose to change "conquest" to "occupation" in a week or so if no contrary consensus emerges.

My Edits

Why did you say my addition to the mozzarella article was vandalism? Donkey mozzarella is enjoyed by many an italian! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bj884life (talkcontribs) 20:46, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Also I live in the village of Simmondley and know the pub is in fact called the hairy duffer and not the hairy dog! Why have you changed this. This is not vandalism! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Bj884life (talkcontribs) 21:00, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Royal 22e Régiment

Hi, were there any specific objections to what I did? If it was the lack of an edit summary, I admit that was not helpful! 118.90.6.70 (talk) 09:16, 4 August 2009 (UTC)

Use of rollbacker at Barack Obama

Just a friendly reminder not to use rollback, except in the case of vandalism. The edit you rolled back at the Obama page were not vandalism, and thus not subject to rollback. UnitAnode 19:53, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

It actually looks like a revert was done rather than a a formal rollback. Still, it helps to provide a descriptive summary of why you are changing it back rather than leaving the default statement generated by whatever tool may have been used. --StuffOfInterest (talk) 20:00, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
  • I'll take another look. If it was simply a bald undo (read: undone without edit summary), then I retract my "friendly reminder" above, and concur with SOI's statement. UnitAnode 20:02, 6 August 2009 (UTC)

So what's up with Al-Qaida in Northern Europe

The page makes spurious claims that muslims in Europe face "widespread discrimination" yet offers one PBS article as a citation. My comment next to it of (says who?) was because there doesn't appear to be anywhere to dispute the legitimacy of that claim. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.133.108.5 (talk) 14:47, 7 August 2009 (UTC)

Robespierre

Hello Jeffrey: IP 174.6.26.254 (talk) has again deleted the Question/Answer section on Robespierre talk page. What's next? Regards, Frania W. (talk) 01:56, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

P.S. Has also blanked his/her own talk page, which is dumb since anyone can read everything in its history... FW

Hello again Jeffrey: When you left a note on my talk page, did you happen to read what IP 174.6.26.254 had left to my attention? If you have time please take a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Frania_Wisniewska#Emotional. Regards, Frania W. (talk) 13:52, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Thank you! Will call on you if necessary. Best to you, Frania W. (talk) 14:13, 10 August 2009 (UTC)
Jeffrey, Administrator Toddst1 intervened & removed Question/Answer section with reason for doing so. So the edit war with 174.6.26.254 & other IP is over. Still thankful for your intervention. Cordialement, Frania W. (talk) 15:49, 11 August 2009 (UTC)

Regarding my edits to Lea County Regional Airport and Hobbs Army Air Field

Sorry, not trying to vandalize, but the history section on Lea County Regional Airport is incorrect, and the redirect from Hobbs Army Air Field is incorrect, since the two airports are not the same--they're miles apart. Hopefully you can find somebody to do this properly as I don't have a clue. I do have some information about both airports on the following website of which I am webmaster: HobbsHistory.com —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cottonchipper (talkcontribs) 01:36, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Hobbs Army Air Field -vs- Lea County Regional Airport

There is no page established for Hobbs Army Air Field (as far as I can tell) to redirect to. It no longer operates as a commercial airport. I've inserted the correct history into the Hobbs Army Air Field page. I haven't altered the Lea County Regional Airport history (which is incorrect) but I inserted some historical notes on its discussion page. I give up on trying to make any changes. I'll be glad to answer questions if somebody wants to work on the pages, but otherwise I'm done. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Cottonchipper (talkcontribs) 02:14, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Huh?

Why? -sesuPRIME 23:54, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

Heh, sorry for the ambiguous message. I think I have it all figured out now. In that article, the character's name is Link, but someone changed it to say "Zelda". An IP fixed it, but you reverted him and placed a vandalism tag on his talk page. The article has since been corrected and I removed the tag from the IP's talk. Cheers. -sesuPRIME 01:51, 15 August 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, I can see how it might've looked like vandalism; an IP removing numerous instances of "Zelda" from an article with "Zelda" in its title would look suspicious to someone unfamiliar with the series. Well, cheers. -sesuPRIME 02:01, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

Maura Harrington...

My Vandalism

Could you explain to me how my previous edit was vandalism? I put it in the appropriate location (your user page), I described my previous vandalism and told you it wouldn't happen again, and signed. I am not quite sure you understand what vandalism is and I would appreciate it if you refrain from abusing your authority by banning me. It's people like you that make Wikipedia such a vile place. 76.21.210.121 (talk) 00:05, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

You know exactly why I reverted that. Jeffrey Mall (talkcontribs) - 00:06, 20 August 2009 (UTC)

A tiny mistake...

When I wasn't logged in, I edited this page. This page links to the CVU task-force directory, stating that I'm busy if the page has text on it. I didn't know I was logged in, so I blanked it to indicate I am no longer busy, and you reverted it thinking it was vandalism. I logged in and blanked it again. No hard feelings, just letting you know... (that's what your userbox says after all!) DaL33T (talk) 21:28, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Hah ok, I had considered that it was you but I thought I'd better revert it just in case ;-). Jeffrey Mall (talkcontribs) - 21:31, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Hi, what are doing on this page? This is a test/sandbox page so pretty much any edit is allowable. Therefore it is not "obvious vandalism" and you are violating WP:3RR. Just a heads-up. — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 21:12, 8 September 2009 (UTC)

Catherine Rodland

How is she related at all to any of the Barlow sisters? You added her as in a See Also section to their articles. I don't understand, but I'm asking you first before I reverted since you have a solid history. Please explain. Royalbroil 03:38, 16 September 2009 (UTC)

Hi because they're all keyboardists that perform christian music. Cheers, Jeffrey Mall (talkcontribs) - 15:44, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
That would make them barely tangentially related. There are over 200 articles in that category! I have removed Rodland from several articles. We can't have relationships that tangential in articles; relationships need to be more significant. Royalbroil 03:00, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
