Regarding the article you submitted on "Varied Practice":

well, to start with, I moved it to varied practice, as per our rules on capitalization. I also fixed the "lede", to give a better context -- my initial perception was that 'practice' referred to 'the practice of medicine', not 'practicing a skill until you can do it better'.

You'll note that I removed the attribution to Dr. Hazeltine. We don't sign our work on articles (as opposed to our comments on discussion pages); this is because a given article can have dozens of contributors, and if they all signed their names, the article would quickly become an unintelligble mess of signatures. Credit for who did what is recorded in the article history.

On a related point - does Dr. Hazeltine know that you submitted that content? Did you actually have the right to submit it here? It looks like a good article, but if you can't/don't answer my question about the article's provenance (I'll give you two weeks to come back and find this message), I'll have to delete it for copyright reasons.

(If I delete it before you answer, and then it turns out that the answer is 'yes, Dr Hazeltine knew and said it was okay', then I can restore it. But I will need that answer.) DS (talk) 14:58, 9 December 2010 (UTC)Reply
