May 2022 edit

Hello, I'm Arjayay. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Ravish Desai seemed less than neutral and has been removed. If you think this was a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 18:34, 6 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Arjayay, I am very sorry but you must have confused me with someone else, as I have only edited pages relating to the area in which I grew up, Yorkshire, and haven’t edited pages about people. I appreciate that the content of these edits should be neutral and I hope that all future edits on Wikipedia meet this criteria. Thanks, JamesWilliamsGB JamesWilliamsGB (talk) 08:46, 7 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sources edit

Please remember to provide references/sources for everything you add to any Wikipedia article. The content you added to Holderness has been removed - please replace it, if you can also include a reference to tell us where you found that information. Thanks. PamD 21:00, 6 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hi PamD, I am very sorry for this. Please can you tell me which part was removed, so I can add the link to the website from which I found the information. Thanks, JamesWilliamsGB. JamesWilliamsGB (talk) 08:51, 7 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

No sources and incorrect values given in Beverley article. Please use references. 10mmsocket (talk) 10:53, 8 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Also, consider using {{convert}} for distances so that numbers are properly formatted according to MOS:NUM with non-breaking spaces. And take a look at the {{cite}} template to see how to properly format date= and access-date = because you're doing it incorrectly at the moment. 10mmsocket (talk) 11:05, 8 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

November 2022 edit

Thanks for contributing to the article British Army. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. Please help by adding more sources to the article you edited, and/or by clarifying how the sources already given support the claims (see here for how to do inline referencing). If you need further help, you can look at Help:Menu/Editing Wikipedia, or ask at the Teahouse, or just ask me. Thank you. Dormskirk (talk) 21:09, 7 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
