Explaining edit

I patrolled your page. I went through the enormously-backlogged list of newly-created pages and confirmed that your page was okay: not spam, not an attack page, not a copyright violation, not any of the other reasons for which I would delete someone's page without asking. Then I clicked "patrolled" to remove it from the list of "pages that have not yet been patrolled", and moved on to the next entry. That's all. DS (talk) 01:08, 17 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Understood. And thank you. So, with your approval, do I need to do something to get it displayed when searched? I read a person's reply a few days ago... "I appreciate your advice about the proper way to transfer an article from my sandbox to the mainspace. I didn't realize that copy-and-paste caused extra work for administrators; I'm sorry about that. Although I have seen the "move" function mentioned on Wikipedia, I'm not familiar with it. I'll keep it in mind, though, and plan to use it for any future articles that I write.."

I was not able to read your advice.. I can't find the FAQ answer for doing so... can you share again?

The reason you couldn't read my advice to Teblick was that I left it on Teblick's talk page. If you think your draft is ready for mainspace, you can add {{submit}} to it, and someone will be along to review it ... within, I must admit, a few weeks. There's a huge backlog and no strict order. And... oh my, I just looked at your draft again, and I see the problem. You used single braces, instead of double. So it never got added to the list of drafts awaiting review. Thank you very much for that input! I think it is now submitted. Thanks again! Have a great summer!
