User pages

Hello, user pages are for the user to use in any way they wish and should not be edited by other editors unless for extenuating circumstances. Please make sure you add the welcome pages to the user TALK page and not the USER page as you did with User:Sweeney. Thanks for your contributions so far! --Samtheboy (t/c) 14:13, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

Whoops! Sorry about that! Cheers, Jacklee 14:17, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
Hey, just realized that you're at the University of Birmingham too! Cheers, Jacklee 14:19, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

{{Singapore-law-stub}}

Hi - a stub template or category which you created has been nominated for deletion or renaming at Wikipedia:Stub types for deletion. The stub type, which was not proposed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting/Proposals, does not meet the standard requirements for a stub type, either through being incorrectly named, ambiguously scoped, or through failure to meet standards relating to the current stub hierarchy or likely size, as explained at Wikipedia:Stub. Please feel free to make any comments at WP:SFD regarding this stub type, and in future, please consider proposing new stub types first! Grutness...wha? 05:51, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

I created this stub category after reading a notice on the "Wikipedia:SGpedians' notice board" encouraging users to specialize stub notices, not realizing there was a procedure for nominating the creation of new stubs. Sorry about that – am still pretty new to the arcana of Wikipedia! I agree there may not be many articles that qualify to be tagged with the {{Singapore-law-stub}} at the moment, but feel that there is scope for much growth. {{Singapore-stub}} is rather undifferentiated and could do with some refinement. character count

I just cut & paste into word; the "word count" gives you a character count too. Johnbod 02:38, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Yes, thanks for that. Cheers, Jacklee 03:20, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Hi Jacklee, you were originally invited to Singapore meetup 4. However, due to the lack of response, the date of the meetup has been changed to November. Please refer to this page for more information. -- ZhongHan (Email) 05:17, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for the invitation to the next "meetup". Unfortunately, I'm studying in the UK at the moment and won't be in Singapore in November 2007. Cheers, Jacklee 17:14, 9 July 2007 (UTC)

If you can or cannot make it, please leave your name here. It will be good to have you at the meetup. Terence (talk) 08:47, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
