Kazakh names edit
What you are deleting are not Arabic names, they are Kazakh names. Please stop.--Ymblanter (talk) 08:22, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
By law, on the page of each country or city, it is customary to leave the name in those languages that are present in the region. You do illegal things by adding names in Arabic. Please, stop.

Please stop vandalizing, and explain to me your logic. Why are you adding names in the "Arabic" language, and specifically in the "Kazakhstani" cities and regions? Is this some kind of political order? 3 languages are common in Kazakhstan: Kazakh, Russian and English. Therefore, city names can only be in these languages, period. - These names are not in Arabic, they are in Kazakh. Kazakh used to have several different scripts: Latin, Cyrillic, and Arabic, they all can be used in the articles. Do not call me a vandal, and read WP:VANDALISM to see that what you are doing is in fact vandalism, otherwise you will be get blocked pretty soon.--Ymblanter (talk) 09:28, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

Please do not threaten me. If you are a moderator, then this does not give you the right to ban me for no reason. I did not break anything, unlike you. No need to scare me. I’ve warned you dozens of times, stop giving false information. In the English page, there must be a name for the region in English, Kazakh and Russian. Nobody uses the Arabic alphabet here. Ok, since this is not a contradiction to the rules, why not add the name of other countries, cities in Arabic (not arabic name, but in arabic alphabet? Why not add this to your Amsterdam page? Or Holland? This is not against the rules. Of course you do not want this, this is your country. And you can spread false information to foreign countries. You want to ban me for deleting false information, for preventing your vandalism. Ok, this is Wikipedia, everything is possible here. I already complained about you, I think the truth will win. 3 revert rule warning edit
Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. - JackAtkinson22 - I wanted to follow up on what I told you on the ANI thread. This is not about ordinary users having no rights - this is about everyone following the same rules. When content has been in an article for a significant period of time without being challenged, it is deemed to be there by consensus. You are permitted to make a change, but if somebody disagrees, they can revert, and then the status quo ante - version of the page that existed before your change - remains in place until you can come to an agreement by discussing the matter. You removed the Arabic script; Ymblanter objected and reverted you; the onus is now on you to discuss and convince other editors that your change is for the better. You don't do that at ANI - you need to do it on the relevant article's talk page, or potentially you could have a centralised discussion somewhere to get more interested editors involved (e.g. at the relevant Wikiproject's talk page). What you must not do is edit war to force your edits onto the page, or to accuse other editors who disagree with you of vandalism.
- To answer your question about Amsterdam directly - yes, if you added an Arabic script version of its name to the article, I would probably revert you. Then the status quo ante (the version of the article before you added it) would persist until you established a consensus on why the article should show the Arabic script. In short - the onus is on the person who wants to change a page to convince their colleagues that their change is an improvement. Best GirthSummit (blether) 16:30, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If the block is a CheckUser or Oversight block, was made by the Arbitration Committee or to enforce an arbitration decision (arbitration enforcement), or is unsuitable for public discussion, you should appeal to the Arbitration Committee.
