listing of cats

emdashes and sorting

Regarding this edit: diff I don't understand. I went back to the previous revision and tried it, and didn't notice any issues. What was the problem, exactly?

It sorts correctly the first time you click it. The second time the numbers go 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 34, 33, etc. The third time, 1, 10, 11, 14, etc. The fourth time it sorts correctly in reverse order. It repeats from there. --Izzygood (talk) 14:17, 27 June 2011 (UTC)

Colin Suellentrop and proposed deletion

As it turns out, it's not required to have a reason for contesting a normal proposed deletion, as the previous editor did on this article. While I tend to agree that the article doesn't appear to meet the appropriate notability guidelines, but you'll have to take that to AfD as a matter of process. The relevant policy on this point is WP:DEPROD.

As a result, but I'll be reverting your reinstatement of the tag.

(One source of confusion on this point is WP:BLPPROD, which is similarly named and does require the addition of a source before removal, but it's a different tag with several other different requirements.)

Let me know if you need a hand listing this at WP:AFD.

Proposed deletion of Harry Zolnierczyk

Rookie minor league hockey player who doesn't meet notability requirements per WP:NHOCKEY

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
