Hi again, Ivaroa. Looking at your contributions so far—which are good, by the way—I notice you tend to make a lot of edits to the same article in a short period of time. I wonder if you're familiar with our preview button available on the editing screen; using it would help you find any errors you have made and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Thanks again for your contributions so far! Powers T 14:35, 1 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for October 17 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Liv and Maddie, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Step By Step and Shake It Up! (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

October 2013 edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Liv and Maddie, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please make use of the sandbox if you'd like to experiment with test edits. Thank you. If trying for split see WP:SPLIT and follow process there. Also see WP:CWW and give required attributions. Geraldo Perez (talk) 15:32, 18 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Cast of Liv and Maddie.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Cast of Liv and Maddie.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Anchors edit

It is unnecessary and undesirable to create anchors to episodes as you are doing. The episode list template {{Episode list}} automatically generates anchors of the form ep(ep number) for each entry. While what you are doing works, it is redundant and puts the anchor in the wrong location in the text. See the description of the template parameters at template:episode list/doc#Parameters for more on this. Geraldo Perez (talk) 17:41, 30 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

Be careful about copyright edit

Try to rewrite summaries in your own words. It is better to wait for an episode to air and summarize from watching that if you can't reword what the reference says. Geraldo Perez (talk) 05:34, 5 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

List of Dance Moms episodes edit

A number of edits that you have made to List of Dance Moms episodes have been problematic, as they do not comply with our policies, guidelines and conventions. I have spent quite a long time fixing them, only to have to fix them again the next time you edit. The more obvious issues are:

  • We don't split out special episodes into separate sections. By convention episodes are listed in the order in which they aired. I explained this in this edit summary as well as noting that ordering episodes as you did is confusing to readers. If episodes are "specials" then they can be annotated as such in the |ShortSummary= field if it is not obvious from their title or episode summary.
  • "No. in season" episode numbers are taken from the official episode guides. If they are undefined, we've been using en dashes (not em dashes) to fill the |EpisodeNumber2= field. Episode numbers should not be arbitrarily assigned as you did with several episodes.
  • Episode titles should be as listed in the official episode guide. If the episode title includes "Part" (e.g. "Tell All, Part 1") then this should be how the episode title is listed. If "Part" is not in the title but the episode is separated into parts (e.g. "The Dancing Dead") then "Part" should not be included, but should be added to the |RTitle= field.

Please also remember to always use an edit summary. Thank you. --AussieLegend () 03:46, 22 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Regarding this edit, as I earlier indicated, summaries are supposed to summarise the entire episode and hiding content because it "gives away" soething is not appropriate, per WP:SPOILER. --AussieLegend () 02:43, 27 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

List of Liv and Maddie episodes edit

Hello there. Please do not remove the international viewing figures. The reception section of MOS:TV says "it would be beneficial to find international reception". I added the viewing figures to follow that rule. They were sourced from reliable sources. Keenan202 (talk) 21:57, 22 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

List of Dance Moms episodes edit

This edit summary makes no sense. It's not a matter of being fair or unfair and there is no rule that says specials aren't labeled with "S". |EpisodeNumber= can be any value. The only real criteria is that it needs to be unique so that the anchors provided for by {{Episode list}} will work. As I've now explained twice, putting "00" between "26" and "27" is confusing so a qualifier is needed. Otherwise, other editors are going to come along and "fix" the number so the episode numbers are sequential, as they are for nearly every episode list. Having an episode without sequential numbering is unique; most lists simply number sequentially regardless of whether an episode is recognised on an official episode guide. Using "S" to designate the only episode that is not sequentially numbered makes perfect sense, especially when it is a "S"pecial episode. --AussieLegend () 02:14, 23 April 2014 (UTC)Reply

Dance Moms edit

Please do not change the cast section to the format that you desire. The one you have used, normally would be in the main article page, and in this case is. In season articles we use the simple format of listing the cast, rather than describing their relations to one another like you did. As for the season overview, you need to write them in your own words, and from your previous edits on wikipedia, you seem to copy and past overviews from other sources, rather than writing them yourself. Please, discuss a change first before diving in and distributing the whole page. If this continues we will be in an edit war, so please discuss. B.Davis2003 (talk) 12:37, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

There is no defined format for season articles. MOS:TVCAST doesn't discriminate between parent, season, or episode article structures. The same format can be used in all articles or a different format can be used in each. As I explained in this edit summary, cast list shouldn't be restricted to just listing cast. Articles have to cater for readers who aren't fans of the show. --AussieLegend () 13:05, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Dance Moms season articles edit

The current edit war between you and B.Davis2003 needs to stop. Please discuss on an article talk page somewhere or the pages may need to be protected to prevent disruption. Since the war affects multiple articles, Talk:List of Dance Moms episodes may be the best place to discuss this --AussieLegend () 12:57, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:GunstonMiddleLogo.gif edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:GunstonMiddleLogo.gif. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Also:

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 03:00, 2 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
