Some cookies to welcome you! :D

Welcome to Wikipedia, Itsjustajoy! I am Richard0612 and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome! No problem! If you want a hand with templates I could most likely be of assistance there (I am a bit of a template geek!). Just drop me a line if you need a hand. RichardΩ612 Ɣ ɸ 19:52, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply
I've added it to the template (templates can be quite confusing, I know). If you are interested in templates, this page and/or the wikiproject may be able to assist you. If you need any more help, just let me know. RichardΩ612 Ɣ ɸ 20:11, 24 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

BOTREQ edit

I've left a reply on WP:BOTREQ, yes I can setup a bot to do the run. Should I also tag all pages that have: Image:Cricket no pic.png on them? §hep¡Talk to me! 20:17, 27 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: pictures edit

There's no way of bulk-uploading pictures that I know of, but search.creativecommons.org is good for finding copyright-free pictures. Just ensure you check the licensing and select the right license description when you upload the picture. If you need any more help don't hesitate to ask! Dick Motta edit

I see you tagged Dick Motta as a copyvio. In truth, Hoopedia copied the article from us. See my explanation here. Thanks! Zagalejo^^^ 19:28, 29 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Image:Southee.gif edit

A tag has been placed on Image:Southee.gif requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an image page for a missing or corrupt image or an empty image description page for a Commons-hosted image.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Southee.gif|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of Sherwood Academy edit

The article Sherwood Academy has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

apparently a closed school, of some nature which is not evident from the article

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
