Question from Aiswarya Gopan S on User:Aiswarya Gopan S (06:22, 31 December 2021)

Hello, are you from ILAE? --Aiswarya Gopan S (talk) 06:22, 31 December 2021 (UTC)

Aiswarya Gopan S I'm unsure as to where "ILAE" is. Would you mind clarifying? — Berrely • TalkContribs 10:06, 31 December 2021 (UTC)

Question from Vitaium (12:30, 31 December 2021)

Hello Berrely! Why are some special pages restricted like Special:TranscodeStatistics or Special:Upload requires autoconfirmed to use it or read it. While Special:Block, Special:DeletedContributions, and Special:DeletePage requires administrators access? --Vitaium (talk) 12:30, 31 December 2021 (UTC)

@Vitaium uploading is limited to autoconfirmed users to prevent abuse. Administrators are the only users able to block, see deleted revisions and delete pages, so that's why they can view these pages. — Berrely • TalkContribs 12:39, 31 December 2021 (UTC)

File:Rabbit-Logo.svg

Hello. In regards to your revert, yes, UK has a very low threshold of originality, and the file should not be uploaded to Commons. However, this logo is in the public domain in the United States, and may be licensed as such. This is precisely what {{PD-ineligible-USonly|the United Kingdom}} covers. – Pbrks (t • c) 15:55, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

@Pbrks apologies, when I saw the edit summary I assumed you'd added {{pd-us}}. I've rv'd to your version. Happy holidays :) — Berrely • TalkContribs 15:58, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

Question from Iranyc (20:05, 3 January 2022)

can you explain why one user undid all of my edits? I have asked that person directly twice and gotten no explanation. Nor was any offered in the entries that the person reverted. --Iranyc (talk) 20:05, 3 January 2022 (UTC)

Question from Vitaium (10:24, 5 January 2022)

Hello Berrely! How do I re-upload files from Wikipedia to Commons? --Vitaium (talk) 10:24, 5 January 2022 (UTC)

Question from BeePop0202 (17:09, 12 January 2022)

Hello! I hope I'm doing this right - I've added links to a couple of virtual tours of old buildings (Hornsey Town Hall and Millennium Mills) that are currently / will be undergoing redevelopment as it's a historical record of how they were previously. Is this considered useful to the Wiki community? Thank you :-) --BeePop0202 (talk) 17:09, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

Hi @BeePop0202 and welcome to Wikipedia, and thanks for your contributions :). The relevant guideline on what should be added to external links section can be read at WP:EL. The guideline on what may be linked applies here, under point two. As some of these article don't have freely licensed media, it is useful to the articles, thanks for your contribution! — Berrely • TalkContribs 17:44, 12 January 2022 (UTC)

@Berrely - thank you so much - that's really useful to know. The tours don't require plugins and are streamed, so I think we're good on meeting the guidelines. Thanks again for your help, and best wishes! (I wasn't sure how to reply to your comment so I've edited the talk section, which I suspect isn't quite right, but hope it works!) — Preceding unsigned comment added by BeePop0202 (talkcontribs) 10:58, 13 January 2022 (UTC)

BeePop0202, you might want to turn on discussion tools in the gadget section of preferences, which helps with replying :) — Berrely • TalkContribs 13:14, 13 January 2022 (UTC)

Question from Oalencar100 (20:59, 30 January 2022)

Hi Berrely, I created this wiki profile after spending some weeks studying the policies to update business profiles and how to do it. I found one with an alert flag about all kind of content issues and mistakes. I did my research, find the missing information fonts/proves, rewrote the content without any kind of promoting approach and looks good now.

I don't know anybody that have experience with wikipedia... I would like to ask you if a rookie like me could try to update a company profile? Do you have any suggestion?

Thank you in advance! --Oalencar100 (talk) 20:59, 30 January 2022 (UTC)
