@Baffle gab1978: Hello, thank you very much for your c/e. I will take some time to browse through the article later. I have one preliminary question: Speak Now, the third studio album to be recorded by American singer-songwriter Taylor Swift, Most album articles follow the format "[album title] is the [nth] studio album by [artist]". Why did you c/e'd it to "to be recorded by"? Ippantekina (talk) 02:20, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

No problem. I made that change because the grammar in the first sentence was awkward. "By" implies someone performed an action to bring about the subject so a verb phrase is needed there. There's no set format for opening sentences in the Manual of Style and using other articles as templates isn't always a good idea. It's fine to revert to the original version; I did revert an IP editor here but I'm done with the article now. Good luck with your planned FA nomination. I truly have moved on from making new edits to Wikipedia because of how relentless you are. I don't understand why you think that Taylor has re-recorded any of her songs before November 2020 when she said that she hasn't. In the case of "Picture to Burn" I can understand why you think the picture of her with the microphone is the official cover of that song, but it isn't. The official cover is the picture of her with the match. There has only been one physical release of "Picture to Burn" and it was in 2019 as a part of the 13th anniversary of her Debut record and the release had the picture of her with the match. You already are a vandal. You’ve reverted Apple Music as a source and Taylor Swift herself as a source. “You Belong with Me” was released as a single in 2009. So it was probably uploaded to iTunes in April of 2009 and when iTunes integrated into Apple Music they probably didn't bother putting a month or day, but either way 2009. You act like songs cant have multiple releases. It was released as part of Countdown to Fearless AND as digital single at different times.

You and I both know that Taylor didnt re-record any of her old songs before November 2020. How do we know that? Because she said it in an interview. She shouldnt have to list every song that appears on Red for it to be understood what exactly she’s re-recording. You act like you dont know what an album is comprised of.

You treat Wikipedia like its your personal playground and it scares people away. I’ve been editing here for awhile and i always want to work together with people on here but you don’t seem interested in ever having a conversation. So i’m just not gonna bother anymore. I edit here because i think people should have readily available information and you remove that information why? Because the date’s not right? Then why do you undo the whole edit? Lol yea, that's what I thought. You're so concerned with being right you're not willing to have a conversation. You never gave an explanation on why Apple Music isn't reliable, you just said that the date was wrong. What a shame. Anyway, those are secondary sources that use that image. Big Machine Records has only ever used the image with the match. The image with the microphone is as official as this image for "Love Story", as to say, it's not THE official image. Besides, I already sent you images of the vinyl. There is no vinyl with the image with the microphone. Walmart and RecordStoreDay use that image on their websites. The actual vinyls at their locations have the image with the match. But you can do whatever you want User:Ippantekina. Like I said, I don't care enough to stick around because of how insufferable it is to share a space with you, and it doesn't seem like there are many other Wikipedians that care that much either. No, the CD from the original release didn't have a cover. It is impossible to find any physical release of Picture to Burn with the microphone image. All of these sources you're finding are secondary sources. The first physical release of Picture to Burn in 2008 didn't even have a cover, but the actual disc uses the same font and colors as the image with the match. Here: 1 2

Honestly, I think what happened is back in 2008 the Wikipedians of that time just used the first image they found instead of using the image that Big Machine considers to be the official image, and the rest of the internet saw that and said "Yea, seems legit". You're right, there are multiple single covers for multiple songs, but the image with Taylor Swift in the bleachers is very clearly the image that represents You Belong with Me the best. The image of Taylor dressed as Juliet definitely represents Love Story the best. And the image of Taylor Swift BURNING a match represents Picture to BURN the best.

And my reading comprehension is fine thanks, perhaps your explanations could use some work. Because you still haven't explained your issue with only using a year as a release date. Songs can have multiple official images. Songs can have multiple official releases. You also undid my edit that gave You Belong with Me a B-side.
