Greetings - and sorry! edit

Greetings Imoya - thanks for your contributions to the Willie Dennis article. I'm just posting a link for your information (Wikipedia:Footnotes#Ref_tags_and_punctuation). I have just re-read it and found that both styles of punctuation are, in fact, acceptable, and I actually prefer yours, but Wikipedia editors generally prefer versions .<ref></ref> and ,<ref></ref> (Chicago MoS) and you'll save yourself a lot of time if you stick the standard format.

I've also just realised that I should have gone for consensus before changing your formatting, as you were the first to include inline citations for that article. I'm sorry for charging in there - I was just trying to help out. Once again, thanks for contributing to that article - and sorry for the revert. --Technopat (talk) 14:11, 24 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

September 2009 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to the page List of songs recorded by Morgana King has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive.   Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did with this edit to the page List of songs recorded by Morgana King. Such edits constitute vandalism and are reverted. Please do not continue to make unconstructive edits to pages; use the sandbox for testing. Thank you. RaseaC (talk) 20:07, 4 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove all content from pages without explanation, as you did to Detailed musical oeuvre of Morgana King. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing.   — Jeff G. (talk|contribs) 02:12, 5 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, thanks for brining my mistake to my attention, I apologise. In the future if you encounter a problem with an editor it would be better to take it up with the editor in question or one of the many sources of help on wikipedia, not a member of staff whose job is generally to deal with press/legal issues etc. this will ensure your problem is dealt with quickly and effectively. ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
