put <div align= "center" style="background-color:honeydew; border:thin solid forestgreen; color:#030; margin:0; padding:3pt 6pt;"> at the top of your page and </div> at the bottom. Then just change background-colour:honeydew to whatever colour you want. Ironholds 20:00, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: signing edit

My signature was created by Steelerfan-94. I personally know very little about how they're made. You could try to find one that you like, change it to link to your name, and copy the formula into the "My preferences". For example mine looks like: '''<span style="border: 2px Black solid;background:Black;font-family: Tahoma">[[User:Blackngold29|<font color="#CDB87C">Black</font>]][[User talk:Blackngold29|<font color="#CDB87C">ngold29</font>]]</span>''' So you could change all the Blacknogld's to Iloveheadbangingmusic, so it would look like: Iloveheadbanging. But I assume you don't wanna copy the colors, so you could change some of them: Iloveheadbanging

Like, I said, I really don't know what I'm doing. But usually if you throw it in your sandbox and adjust little things at random, it usually turns out decently. If you want a more professional looking one, I guess you could ask Steelerfan, and hopefully he could point you in the right direction. If you have any more questions, you know where to find me. metalcore vs. post-hardcore edit

hi, I had a hand in writing both the metalcore and post-hardcore articles, so they're pretty close to my interpretation -- Metalcore is basically a hybrid of thrash metal with youth crew hardcore, meaning that the characteristic element is the emphasis on breakdowns (slower, intense passage often intended for moshing). Many early metalcore groups are pretty abrasive and noisy; most later metalcore groups are melodic and sound (to me, at least) like Green Day crossed with Metallica. Post-hardcore, on the other hand, is a nebulous category that was originally applied to groups like Hüsker Dü and Fugazi, who take little to no influence from heavy metal at all, and were interested in a broader range of expression than classic '80s hardcore provides. It's common to hear post-hardcore used as a term, now, for second wave screamo groups like Thursday, and sometimes for Refused and At the Drive-In. I don't know what band you were thinking of, but I'd say that bands that take any influence from thrash metal are probably metalcore. Post-hardcore is so broad that it can refer to a lot of things. I'd advise researching using Google until you find a source for one or the other attribution. Aryder779 (talk) 21:44, 18 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
