Speedy deletion nomination of Illinois valley community hospital edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Illinois valley community hospital, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Safiel (talk) 18:19, 21 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Contact information edit

This change was absolutely unacceptable. Your article is not intended to be an advertisement or directory listing for the hospital, and adding a contact section like this serves no purpose in an encyclopedia article. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:56, 26 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Improper talkback usage edit

Please stop using the talkback template on my talk page. You are not using it properly. I had mentioned this to you previously, but you have since deleted that message from your talk page. In any case, you do not need to place this template on my talk page -- I am fully aware of any changes made there. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:08, 26 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Can my article be viewed now as a complete and fine article and not on the verge of deletion? I want to show people this without them seeing the deletion portion on the top of my article. Illinois18 (talk) 14:49, 26 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Nope, you still haven't quite got the hang of {{Talkback}}. The purpose of this template is to inform another user that you have added a comment to a discussion they are interested in. So, if you and I are having a discussion here on your talk page, and you add a comment to that discussion, you could add {{Talkback|Illinois18|optional page subheading goes here}} to my user talk page. That way I would get a notification ("You have a new message on your talk page"), and, checking my talk page, I would see that you have made a new comment on your talk page.
Placing {{Talkback|Illinois18}} on your own talk page is pointless -- this should be placed on another talkpage to inform that user that there is a new comment on your talk page.
Placing {{Talkback|WikiDan61}} anywhere is inappropriate, because that will direct users to check my talk page for a comment. That is tantamount to using someone else's signature to sign your comments. A big no-no.
Please let me know if you need any more help with this feature. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:55, 26 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
