No. 662 Squadron AAC

edit

Hello Ila1519,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, No. 662 Squadron AAC, may be copied from http://www.army.mod.uk/aviation/30302.aspx. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 08:07, 28 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Sorry cause the problem. Just trying to work a new page, but sort of forget should use the sandbox. Please just delete the page for me. I shall recreated it later.

You add Phoenix and Las Vegas Film Critics at List of accolades received by Hell or High Water. I tell you now, Wikipedia:WikiProject Film does not include non-notable awards like MakeUp Artists Guild, Phoenix Film Critics, Las Vegas Film Critics, Seattle Film Critics, defined as those without a Wikipedia article. Except, you create that non-notable awards I mention above.

You mention Into the Woods and the Lord of the Rings as your references. I check them and delete them some awards because Wikipedia:WikiProject Film.

Proposed deletion of Phoenix Film Critics Society

edit

The article Phoenix Film Critics Society has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Previously deleted via an AfD. Concerns not addressed; every reference is to a primary source (the organization itself) with no assertion of importance, nor evidence of in depth coverage.--Hammersoft (talk) 14:21, 22 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Phoenix Film Critics Society, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
  • It appears to be a clear copyright infringement of http://www.nevadafilmcriticssociety.org/index.php?start=26. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. However, even if you use one of these processes to release copyrighted material to Wikipedia, it still needs to comply with the other policies and guidelines to be eligible for inclusion. If you would like any assistance with this, you can ask a question at the help desk.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited I Am the Night (TV series), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Dylan Smith (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Deletion discussion about Violence of Action (film)

edit

Hello, Ila1519,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Willbb234 and it's nice to meet you :-)

I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Violence of Action (film) should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Violence of Action (film).

You might like to note that such discussions usually run for seven days and are not ballot-polls. And, our guide about effectively contributing to such discussions is worth a read. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.

If you have any questions, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Willbb234}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges.

Sorry, I didn't mean to upset you, I made a mistake for take the past edits for granted. I take full responsibility for that. However, can I ask you one thing if I may, as an actor's tv credits for like Top Gear or SNL is just every now and then, do we really put the list based on the show name? Can we use the yearly order then? Also take SNL for example, if they not always been host, how we mention the other appearances for roles of the show or we need to change to the other format like the example 2 for actors. Thank you for writing to me. Wish you a very happy New Year in advance.Ila1519 (talk) 10:18, 26 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

No worries. In regards to the SNL/Top Gear question, could you give me an example of what you mean? If they just appear on SNL once or twice without being the host then it's however they are credited on that episode, most of the time it's just as "himself" or "herself". But if you have an example of what you're meaning, I'd be happy to look at it LADY LOTUSTALK 15:42, 26 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
I think the best way I can describe is they attended the show as guests. Ex: Ryan Reynolds in Top Gear S18 EP3 or like when Zachary Quinto, Chris Pine on the Weekend Update segment of SNL in 2009, or even like this one: (https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2017/05/melissa-mccarthy-snl-blake-lively-ryan-reynolds). I think maybe just Himself/Herself for the actors' credits, right? Thank you
I think I prefer the old format for the TV section on Pine's page, because it's more clear and detailed for my liking, but I understand it's not for the format they had. Thank you.Ila1519 (talk) 13:36, 27 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
