Nomination of Eno Eruotor for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Eno Eruotor is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

Proposed deletion of Kaye Forster

The article Kaye Forster has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

There need to be independent, reliable references about her and none are in the article. BBC sources can be used to provide refs about her job, but cannot be used to determine notability.

Thanks for uploading File:Knutsford Station 2015.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. Northern

Firstly, your accusation that I "am working to improve Northern's PR" is nonsense. If you actually look at my edits on the Northern page you will notice they have been overwhelmingly negative in regards to increased cancellations, industrial action, botched timetable changes and delays of new rolling stock into service. This reflects the mood of the franchises as reported in media outlets, both national and local. Where applicable, I have sought to include a degree of balance with the odd opportunity to include Northern responses to meet WP:NPOV, for instance including new rolling stock investments but also reported criticisms in the introduction.

Secondly, there does not need to be an entire paragraph discussing Northern's inability to introduce a half-hourly service on the mid-Cheshire line. Dedicating sentences to specific train services is complete overkill: "For example, the 15:02 Chester to Manchester service is operated by 2 carriages instead of 4, now that Northern are using more carriages on the Buxton line to allow for an all day half-hourly service". Discussion of isolated services are not proportionate to their overall significance to the article topic under WP:PROPORTION.

I have amended the page by reducing the small essay that existed previously and which was out of kilter with the rest of the article. I have also excluded the claims about reduced carriage capacity being reduced as there is no verifiable reference to support this. Stevo1000 (talk) 21:29, 1 June 2019 (UTC)

I can see that you are an infrequent editor, but you need to know that Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. You must not copy and paste text from sources you find on the web into articles as you did in the article Reba Maybury. I see that you have removed the infringing text, for which, thank you. The material you copied is subject to copyright, as is almost everything on the web, and when creating or expanding articles, you should completely rewrite the information from the source using your own words. @Mattdaviesfsic The information about the 230s having lower 60mph top speed and having a short 18m carriage length is already on the page. The carriage length, in the fact box, isn't referenced. Consequently I've added the necessary citification required tag. The other information I referred to is already included on this and other Wiki pages and is referenced.

I hope you aren't connected with Vivarail, as you don't seem happy with impartial information being posted, to make the article neutral. As you'll be aware the cost comparison table was produced by Vivarail so needs additional information alongside it to comply with Wiki guidelines.

Your undoing of my edits as now left inaccurate information on the page regarding Arriva Rail North, which I will also go back and correct. Please be more careful in the future. Hstudent (talk) 19:22, 16 November 2022 (UTC)

"Definition" template

For future reference, the {{definition}} template that you added to "pop-up metro" in the Class 230 article isn't intended for that purpose; it points to a section of the Manual of Style that advises against specific types of phrase that are inherently imprecise. For words and phrases that are simply unclear or not explained, templates like {{clarify}}, {{explain}}, or {{definition needed}} are the ones to use. Cheers.
