Indenting etc on Talk:Uyghur genocide

HEB, I could not follow who was responding to what, and I'm the instigator and a participant in the conversation on Talk:Uyghur genocide. If I can't follow what hope is there of outsiders following. By placing under me, not adding the name of the person you are addressing, and not indenting, it looked like a continuation of my comment. The whole interaction between you and TFD reads like a private conversation anyway and appears to have very limited connection to the subject of the section ( denial "by some American left-wing media outlets"). I would never dream of altering another editor's comments, but can we remember that others need to follow the interaction? Pincrete (talk) 16:18, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

Thats how indenting works on wikipedia, it allows multiple people to respond to the same comment. No worries on the confusion though, TFD kind of shot the indenting to hell... Genuinely not sure which comment they're responding to. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 16:27, 30 December 2021 (UTC)

WP:TPO

That is signed with my name, please do not modify my comment. And your claim is bogus, as even a basic perusal of the discussion will show. But please do not modify a comment signed by me, thank you. nableezy - 23:55, 19 January 2022 (UTC)

@Nableezy: you appear to misunderstand how restrictive the sanctions are, they need to be directly related to the topic not tangentially related. If you have to peruse the discussion to establish a connection not found in either the OP or the response its not an issue, there actually has to be direct interaction with the topic area. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 02:42, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
Very much disagree with you, broadly construed is broad for a reason. ARBPIA topics are repeated over and over in that request, the majority of substantive comments relate to the topic area. But regardless, my comment is signed by me and per WP:TPO I kindly request that you not modify it. nableezy - 03:28, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
@Nableezy: Would you be willing to have a discussion about this at a more central location? Horse Eye's Back (talk) 16:04, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
Of course. nableezy - 16:19, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard#ARBPIA discussion or not? Horse Eye's Back (talk) 16:47, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

You really think me moving your comment to a new line is a modification of your comment? So much so that you delete mine? Cool. nableezy - 16:49, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

It wasn't a direct response to you, it was a general note. By altering it to be a direct response to yourself you modified both the context and meaning of my comment. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 16:51, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
Oh so it isnt a response to my comment saying it is in the topic area? Huh. nableezy - 16:53, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
Yes it was a response, but an indirect one not a direct one. Just as your comment was an indirect response to the non autoconfirmed user not a direct one. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 17:00, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

Periodic, schedule-like editing

I can't help but notice your periodic editing, as if you're running on a schedule. You would stop editing for a few days, sometimes stretching to 1–2 weeks, before making major edits all within 24 hours. 106.156.97.23 (talk) 01:34, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

And who are you? Horse Eye's Back (talk) 02:36, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

Please stop all your malicious edits on the wikipedia page

Please do not add or change content, as you did at 2022 Winter Olympics opening ceremony — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sharontse121 (talkcontribs) 06:34, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

@Sharontse121: we can't have unreferenced information about living people, as much as I'd like to help you out thats just not negotiable. You also seem to have left off the end of the warning which is "without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you." Do you see how thats the wrong warning to use here? It applies not to my edits but to yours, which is probably why you have so many of that same warning on your talk page. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 16:07, 20 January 2022 (UTC)

tone down ultranationalism

this user repeatedly shows nationalist agendas in their edits. be aware of this person! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Menggu (talkcontribs) 15:09, 26 January 2022 (UTC)

Is that really the problem or is the problem you have with me more sock-puppet hunting related? Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Hayashihouyi. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 15:37, 26 January 2022 (UTC)

In which Nableezy asks a question

Is there a reason youre looking at my contributions? nableezy - 17:26, 29 January 2022 (UTC)

Is that supposed to be some sort of threat? Please explain. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 17:33, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
No, it is a question. Again, is there a reason you have shown up twice now to articles you had never before edited that show up near the top of my contributions at the time of your edits? nableezy - 18:04, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
Did my edits interfere with yours? Horse Eye's Back (talk) 18:32, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
Again, that does not address my question. You can refuse to answer it, thats up to you, but the question remains is there a reason you have shown up twice now to articles you had never before edited that show up near the top of my contributions at the time of your edits? nableezy - 18:46, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
Unless my edits interfered with your's I'm not seeing the issue here. We are all free to navigate as we see fit and I remind you that there is no right to satisfaction on wikipedia. Nobody has to answer your questions and to continue to ask them may be perceived as WP:BADGER. Also your question as posed is rhetorical, you didn't expect a direct answer. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 18:52, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
No it was not rhetorical. Quoting from WP:HOUNDING: Many users track other users' edits, although usually for collegial or administrative purposes. This should always be done with care, and with good cause, to avoid raising the suspicion that an editor's contributions are being followed to cause them distress, or out of revenge for a perceived slight. If you continue to follow me around to annoy me due to some perceived conflict with me I will be raising that in the appropriate forum. I see youve had this issue before across accounts and were told previously by El C to stop such actions. So let me remind you that repeatedly showing up to articles that you had not been by hounding the contributions of those you perceive yourself to be in conflict with can be considered harassment and may be reported to ANI and/or the WMF. So stop. Thank you in advance. nableezy - 19:23, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
You are not being hounded. If you would like to file a complaint you may do so, I suggest the "and" option. Also if you intended to make an accusation of hounding all along, which it seems you did, then your question was in fact rhetorical. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 19:46, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
No, it was asking if you were going through my contributions for one of the acceptable reasons. I dont intend to engage with you further, but if you continue to follow me around outside of those acceptable reasons I will be asking for administrative relief. nableezy - 20:22, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
I'm not following you. I did not interact with your edits in any way nor were my edits even in a topic area which related to yours. I don't intend to disrupt your editing or cause you stress, I don't even consider us to be in a conflict of any kind. I would also ask you to look a bit deeper into the things you said about issues regarding CA (blocked as the sock of a banned user), PailSimon (community banned), and El C (you do not appear to be summarizing the entirety of their point). If you believe that you are being hounded then seek administrative relief, if not then kindly retract your assertions per WP:NPA and WP:ASPERSIONS. Horse Eye's Back (talk) 20:45, 29 January 2022 (UTC)
