Regarding one of your suggestions on the Politeness theory page, I updated the title for the subsection previously called "Refusals' threats to positive and negative face". I intended for it to be understood as the kinds of threats refusals can have on positive and negative face. The new title for the section is "How refusals threaten positive and negative face".
