{{helpme}}Do i ask my question here? basically, one of the pages i've made have been nominated for speedy deletion because its about my band, i'm not sure why this is? is it because its not significant enough?

Yes, bands here must comply with our notability guidelines for music. These are quite strict. weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 13:41, 4 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
No, because through the wonders of Google it is evident that that is a hospital radio station and thus not national as required. Apologies. weburiedoursecretsinthegarden 14:03, 4 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of The Mather-Kaz Combination of Doom edit

A tag has been placed on The Mather-Kaz Combination of Doom requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for musical topics.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Hi, I am going to delete the page on your band on Wikipedia. It does not manage to meet the criteria for WP:BAND, which basically says the band has to have done something special that some other people have written about. When a band is only in myspace we call that a myspace band. You are welcome to write about yourself on your user page at User:Hkazandjian. Are you two different people? I nearly deleted you page as vandalism with the claim: "although originally formed at the creation of the universe and remained in hibernation until civilisation was deemed 'ready'" but WP:N is not achieved yet! You can click on my talk link and say something to me if you want. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 13:37, 4 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
