Orphaned fair use image (Image:Tonyconigliaro.jpg)

In my research I have been unable to find a description of the flying machine used. It is interesting that the story is corroborated by several books and a bronze plaque on the side of Old North Church, yet no description of the flying vehicle is found anywhere. I can only assume it was a glider or human-powered craft rather than an independently powered machine. I wish there was more to say, and I'd be happy to provide you with additional resources if you're curious but there just isn't a lot information on this bizarre curio of history.
