Basanta Shahi Thakuri, also known as बसन्त शाही ठकुरी, presently holds the position of assistant head coach for the Nepali national cricket team. He previously served as the head coach for the Nepal U19 cricket team. Thakuri is a highly regarded coach in Nepal and has a background as a former player with several years of experience. He also took on the role of head coach for the Lumbini Province cricket team.
