Speedy deletion nomination of Khaleej Mag edit

Hello Hello.Zahid,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Khaleej Mag for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. —CaroleHenson(talk) 01:05, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi Hello.Zahid -- thanks for the message on my talk page. As I'm sure you understand, Wikipedia is not a directory of all online magazines, of which enormous numbers start up each year. The encyclopedia only covers the most important examples, and usually these are ones that have been established for more than around 18 months. As CaroleHenson advised you, it is probably too soon to have an article on Khaleej Mag. The specific guidelines for online content are here. What is needed is in-depth coverage of the magazine by several reliable sources such as books, national newspapers and magazines, or television documentaries. Coverage need not necessarily be in English but must be independent of Khaleej Mag and its publishing company, and must go beyond directory listings, brief mentions or press releases. I hope this helps you -- the Teahouse is a friendly forum for newcomers, if you need more advice. Cheers, Espresso Addict (talk) 18:02, 4 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Techhub Connect edit

The article Techhub Connect has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Purely promotional. No independent evidence of notability.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Issuing level 1 warning about removing AfD template from articles before the discussion is complete. (Peachy 2.0 (alpha 8)) edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Plan 9 Startup Incubator. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. This is an automated message from a bot about this edit, where you removed the deletion template from an article before the deletion discussion was complete. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 11:59, 5 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

February 2017 edit

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with this edit to Techhub Connect. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you. Blocked as a sockpuppet edit

Vanjagenije has blocked me from editing the Wikipedia by saying I have multiple accounts. He claimed username (iMZahidIqbal) belongs to me. I do not have any relation with this account. If the other person name is same as me It does not mean I am only person in this world with this name. Please take care of it and unblock me.

Why Blocked? edit

Vanjagenije please respond me why you have blocked me? It does not make sense you have considered a person with the similar name as my duplicate account. Please restore my access.

Request reason:

I do not have any other account here at Wikipedia. I have applied in the WikiMania with my profile and you are killing it. You have Nominated IMZahidIqbal as my duplicate profile. I do not have any relation with this. Kindly take a notice.

Decline reason:

Quite a few edits of yours are about projects Zahid Iqbal is involved in, say Navcane, IDIN and the Plan 9 Startup Incubator. Sure there are multiple people named Zahid. But multiple people named Zahid interested in exactly those topics? Not likely. I'll also note some copyright violations over at Commons and a promotional tone of your edits unsuitable for an encyclopedia. Huon (talk) 00:26, 19 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

About the copyright violation, I posted all the sources of the images from where I was posting these images. Some senior editors have removed them without reading the sources. I clearly saying this account does not belong to me and it should be deleted or ban permanently if it conflicted to my account. About the common edits, I never see the username who involved in creation or edits of pages. It does not mean I am using two accounts to make the same things. You should ban other accounts IMZahidIqbal permanently. I have requested, I applied in the Wikimania with a presentation and this block will kill it. Please listen and unblock it.

Decline reason:

This is a checkuser block. Please lodge an appeal by raising it with the checkuser who imposed it, or via email to the Arbitration Committee. -- Euryalus (talk) 03:11, 6 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, Information Technology University edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Information Technology University. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Information Technology University (Lahore). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Information Technology University (Lahore). If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Greenbörg (talk) 05:51, 27 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
