X3 edit

Hey, if you can find a second or third source of Juggernaut's quote, then feel free to restore that information in the article. Note that the threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth... per WP:V. --Madchester 06:41, 18 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

I apologize for some of the editors in the X3 article who adhered strictly to protocol without doing any research of the posts on various X3 messageboards and forums. I've restored/rewritten your details to the article. --Madchester 23:29, 23 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey, sorry not for replying sooner, don't use many of the features on here. Thanks for fighting my corner. Obviously with the film now out and proof the line is present, the mention can now stay. Again, thank you --HellCat86 22:13, 27 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. Unfortunately, the commercial links/content you added were inappropriate, as Wikipedia is an encyclopedia and should not be used for advertising or a collection of external links. See the welcome page if you'd like to learn more about contributing to the encyclopedia. Thanks! --TeaDrinker 23:52, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • You do realise that Gunota Headlines is a noted and credible Gundam news source, specialising in translating Japanese Gundam news for the benefit of English speaking fans? At least two of the articles linking to it are using information that it provided. Calling liking to them just cheap advertising is foolish --HellCat86 23:57, 9 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

A question on the development of G Gundam edit

I would like to ask what the meaning towards creating a template for the characters of G Gundam seeing as how hardly any of them have their own pages. -Adv193 22:44, 17 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

That's kinda the point. The template highlights noteworthy characters, showing who still needs to have an entry created. It's the first step in beefing up the FC character pages which are so far lacking in comparison to those from other timelines.--HellCat86 23:09, 17 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
My point is that unless if those noteworthy pages are created then there is a risk that the new template will be deleted, however if those pages can be created with a large enough summary then it will be fine. I will also offer my assitance since I not only have the official dvds but I have a portable Dvd player which I can use to help with gathering the neccessary information. One idea I had is that the summaries on the main page of G Gundam can be shortened down and converted into a spoiler-less page while the old descriptions can be moved to the new pages and expanded if neccessary. -Adv193 00:52, 18 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Miriallia Haw edit

I can see that you must be a great fan of Miriallia Haw. But I wonder if you were the one who originally found that image of Miriallia. There are many images of the GS and GSD characters of them in a close up picture showing more of their faces than clothes. Would that not be more preferable because many other characters' pictures are more close up. - Musicalmelodygirl 11:29, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
I originally started the article and capped the profile pic.--HellCat86 19:40, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Miridestiny.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Miridestiny.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Burzmali 01:18, 5 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

While not exactly verifiable, I'm not so sure that the opening is fan made. But since I can't make out the Japanese present during the video, I can't attest to this.--Tempest115 15:03, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
I'm sorry, look of it. EVERYTHING in it is re-used animation/images. Also, why would a theatrical movie have a TV series-like OP? It wouldn't.--HellCat86 17:38, 2 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Images lacking 'fair use rationale' edit

Please read WP:FURG and WP:NFCC and add DETAILED rationales for the images listed below. (It should be noted that single line rationales or boiler plate tags ARE NOT normally sufficent). Please REMOVE items from the list below once detailed rationales have been provided for the images concerned.

How detailed am I supposed to get? As far as I can see, providing an origin, a reason for uploading and why it isn't harming anyone finanically does the job just fine. Am I missing something or is this officially your job for Wikipedia?--HellCat86 17:48, 31 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Doozy Bots edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Doozy Bots, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 06:12, 23 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image source problem with Image:MSSagacover.jpg edit

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:MSSagacover.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 14:27, 21 August 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:27, 21 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:Flaybeltochikakiss.JPG edit

Thank you for uploading Image:Flaybeltochikakiss.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 14:59, 29 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Captain Gundam edit

I have nominated Captain Gundam, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Captain Gundam. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Orphaned non-free image File:FlayHeliopolis.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:FlayHeliopolis.jpg. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 21:20, 4 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Shin SD Sengokuden edit

The article Shin SD Sengokuden has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lacks Notability, I do not even see a Japanese wiki page on this.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
