Your main user page edit

Your main user page needs to comply with the user page guidelines. Because it appeared to be a draft article (which is NOT appropriate for your main user page) I moved the page to User:HeliOperations/Sandbox. I have also added a "userspace draft" template to the page. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 22:57, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please change your username and avoid editing about your own company edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that the username you have chosen, "HeliOperations", seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of something other than yourself. Please note that you may not edit on behalf of a company, group, institution, product, or website which relates to the entity in question, and Wikipedia does not allow usernames that are promotional or accounts that are shared. If you are willing to use a personal account, please take a moment to create a new account or request a username change that represents only yourself as an individual. You should also read our Conflict of interest guideline and Plain and simple conflict of interest guide, and remember that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. If you believe that your username does not violate our policy, please leave a note here explaining why. Thank you.

(end boilerplate message, custom message follows)

This edit and this edit plus your edits to the page that is now in your sandbox strongly suggest that you are here to "create a page" for your company. Please don't do that.

If you are NOT acting on behalf of the company in any way, then you need to change your username because it is misleading and it (falsely, I trust) implies that it is or will be used by more than one person. For legal reasons, accounts are "one person per account."

If you ARE acting on behalf of the company in any way, then you need to change your username because "role" accounts are generally not allowed, shared accounts are not allowed, and even if this is not a shared account, it implies that it is a shared account and is therefore misleading. You also need to stop editing on behalf of others. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 23:07, 27 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User:HeliOperations/Sandbox edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User:HeliOperations/Sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
