Ratnajeevan Hoole edit

Well I think it was a misunderstanding what Lahiru did. The original article was slanderous without RS sources. But I did read his own publications which are borderline anti-Hindu and anti-Buddhist and anti-social because he thinks all what we do in Sri Lanka such as lighting a lamp before a ceremony, starting an event in an auspicious time etc is fool heartedly and should be opposed. I don’t disagree that these are without any real merit but these are culturally sensitive items and part of our shared Hindu/Buddhist culture and born again fundamentalist Christians cannot simply ridicule it, just because it has no sanction in a god given book. In that ridicule I saw a side of Talebanist meanness and arrogance in his put down of this aspect of our culture. You really need two sides to tango, if LTTE is one side then the other side of the coin of Tamil culture is this intolerance of others.Taprobanus (talk) 17:32, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I reverted to your version and WP:NPOVed it and removed all cruft. Hope you like it, when you have time do read WP:CITE and improve the citation method as long as it is not WP:COI. ThanksTaprobanus (talk) 19:08, 5 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank you! I appreciate this much more. Yes I do agree that some of his work may seem unaccepting of other cultures/traditions, hence I left that citation in. But I'm glad that this version has much more inbiased info! Great! Thanks :)HeRA474 (talk) 01:55, 6 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
