Okay, i rollbacked it because after a lenghty discussion on IRC, i proposed that DEFCON should be at 2 until User:Cluebot is back up. User:Cluebot is the best anti-vandalism bot on Wikipedia. There are a bunch of others, but none as fast as User:Cluebot. --Mixwell!Talk 00:26, 18 October 2008 (UTC)

Hi Hda3ku, sorry I didn't get back to you until now. Anyway, I should first disclose that I've never written an FA or participated in FAC, so I might not be the most expert person to ask, and I also don't know a whole lot about Jessica Alba (I don't remember how exactly I even got involved in teh article, but I think I just stumbled across it from elsewhere and did some copyediting, and since that was early in my wiki career I put it on my watchlist, so I've been keeping track of it ever since—there are still whole sections, though, that I don't think I've read yet).
That being said...it's hard for me to judge the article, but I can see good things and bad things. My gut reaction was that it could still offer more comprehensive information about her career and stuff (when I first came to the article, which looks like it was almost the exact same time you first came, a lot of it came off as very fanboy-ish and without a lot of substantive information about her actual career, but rather just a lot of pop culture stuff).... but, looking at it more, it does seem to cover all the important information, so it's not like it's missing stuff...I don't know how prolific her career and stuff has been so I don't know if there's anything left to add that you haven't already added. My general impression is that she's known more as a sex symbol and a pop culture icon than as a professional actress per se, so I guess it's not inappropriate to have so much of the article devoted to stuff like "public image" and "adult life" and yada yada, stuff that's not specifically about her career.
My best recommendation would be to take a look here at the list of featured and good articles that are about actors and stuff...then you can see what other actor and pop-culture-people FAs look like, and get an idea how the Alba article compares and what can be done to improve it. Once you've had a chance to do that, I think you definitely should take it to FAC if you feel it's ready.... I don't know whether or not it will pass, but in any case the experience there should help improve the article a lot. I probably won't be able to help much with major additions and reorganizations of content and stuff (just because it's a topic I'm not familiar with), but I'm always happy to help with copyediting and stuff like that, as I'm a relatively experienced writer. —Politizer talk/contribs 01:34, 18 December 2008 (UTC)

Unfortunately, I'm too busy these days to even consider being an admin—I spend more time here than I should already, and I imagine I'd just be spending even more time if I were also responsible for admin stuff as well. For future reference, when you revert vandalism, you can warn the user with one of the template messages at WP:WARN (such as {{subst:uw-vandalism1|Article name}}. i just finished updating the release dates for Resident Evil 1 but the last 4 release dates as u can see are bolded , they shouldn't be bolded they should be like the rest of them n can you add the list thing that was there B4 all the way up top in the beginning where I put F/A march 22,1996 and fix that part n make it into that retractable list that starts at F/A march 22, 1996 where u have to click to see the the rest of the release dates thanx ,other than that "PLEASE don't change anything else cause that info is pretty much at least 90% accurate based on the website i'm getting the info from so just fix those 2 lil problems but leave everything else intact . —Preceding unsigned comment added by PaPiRiCoSuAvE (talk • contribs) 09:23, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:IM logo.svg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check
- That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
- That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.
