Discussion edit

So far, your account appears to exist solely to remove Wales from articles. You should probably pause and discuss your desired changes on talk pages, to avoid the perception that your purpose is some sort of nationalistic one. We get a lot of people trying to use Wikipedia to fight ethnic/national battles, and since they're so intensely annoying, they get blocked very quickly. I'm sure that's not you, but you can show that it isn't by discussing your desired changes and getting consensus from other users before you make them. And by making other kinds of article improvements. Thanks! -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 21:35, 29 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

I was disappointed to see that you didn't take my advice at Joe Calzaghe, but removed Wales from that article without discussion. Maybe you made that edit before you noticed my message? I assume that's what it was, and that you already wish you hadn't made that edit, so I've undone it for you- I'll look forward to your avoiding edits of this kind without consensus in the future. Sacha Baron Cohen edit

You're wrong on two counts. I am not, and have never been, a Welsh nationalist and I resent your implication that I edit with any sort of agenda in mind. (If I was I would surely have changed his nationality to 'Welsh' not 'British'.)
I live in England, have an English wife, and consider ny children to have dual heritage. That is because nationality is determined not by place of birth, but by parentage. Joanna Lumley and Sir Cliff Richard were both born in India. Do you now propose changing their nationality from English to Indian? I have reverted your edit. ♦ Jongleur100 talk 21:54, 29 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:07, 30 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
