RHaworth, it is saddening for me to have my edit interpreted as 'biting a newbie'. That is not my intent and will never be! The editing on the article was confusing and I mistakenly interpreted it as vandalism. I intentionally welcome newbies, clean-up AfCs, staff the Teahouse and mentor new editors. I clean up articles that are flagged for being deleted and work hard to provide references that will prove that a newbies newly created page just needs a 'little loving care' and help from someone like me who can help them prevent their page from deletion. I really don't deserve a reprimand, just forgiveness for making a mistake. If I had taken just a few more minutes to try to understand what was going on, I also would have moved the article to draft space. If you really want someone to 'reprimand' it looks like reddogsix is the one who tagged the article for deletion. That seems a bit severe. Best Regards,
