April 2023 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abusing multiple accounts. Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text at the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 16:56, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Admins,

I am writing to appeal my indefinite block from Wikipedia for abusing multiple accounts. I want to make it clear that the other accounts were used by my siblings (I know how it sounds, but it's true) who also live with me and share the same internet connection. As we are all currently studying and living under the same roof, we didn't realize that having multiple accounts could cause harm, they wanted to share their opinion but I understand that this could harm the debate in particular in an RFC.
I take full responsibility for any confusion caused by my siblings' actions, and I understand that it was my responsibility to ensure that they were aware of Wikipedia's policies. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and I assure you that it was never my intention to violate any of Wikipedia's rules.
I would like to request that my account be unblocked so that I can continue contributing to Wikipedia in a responsible and respectful manner. I assure you that I will abide by all Wikipedia policies and guidelines in the future. :Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely, Hatrant (talk) 20:43, 28 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

This is such a common lie that there's an entire essay on it at WP:BROTHER. If you want to be unblocked you will need to address the reasons for your block honestly. Sir Sputnik (talk) 00:02, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Dear admins, I apologize. I remain human and it is humiliating for me to admit it in public but after all it is my punishment, I created two new profiles to boost an RFC which in the end did not even need to be boosted, and I feel terribly ashamed and humiliated.

I understand that my behavior violated the rules and principles of Wikipedia, and I accept the consequences of my actions. However, I would like to request a second chance to demonstrate my commitment to the community's values and to make amends for my mistake, if possible. I realize that my previous apology haven't been sufficient and honest, as my shame hindered my ability to express myself adequately. I understand that my request for forgiveness may not be sufficient, but I hope that it demonstrates my sincerity and my willingness to learn from my mistakes.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely, Hatrant (talk) 00:31, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

Given your attempt to mislead us both here and through your sockpuppetry, you're going to need to use the standard offer process to begin to rebuild trust; do not edit under any account or IP for six months, and request unblock after that time(not before Halloween). 331dot (talk) 10:00, 29 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
