TTN decided to be bold and do it himself. Honestly, I'd agree with him. Luppi got ten or so chapters of stardom and was killed off. Anything relevant about him is present at the Hollows in Bleach page. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 04:31, 5 August 2007 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image (Image:Ryuken bow001.JPG)

Thanks for uploading Image:Ryuken bow001.JPG. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Sephiroth BCR (Converse) 20:22, 24 August 2007 (UTC)

English SM image

Hey, that looks nice. Thanks! I'm not sure about the red...the differences between the pictures are significant enough that I think just a thick white line would probably be okay. And yes, it would be great if you'd do the same for the bath images. :) I think they're used in at least one other article too, though, so keep an eye out for that. Thanks again! --Masamage 05:49, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, the old versions of the images just needed to purge. You can do that by right-clicking the image and selecting 'view image'; then type "&action=purge" at the end of the URL. I had to do that to the bath image, but now everything looks fine to me. ^_^ --Masamage 07:22, 25 August 2007 (UTC)

RE:Bleach images

Busy as hell is how I am. College starts in less than two weeks and I'm not packed yet.

But my personal life aside, I believe the following characters probably have group shots:

  • Most of the Bounts, obviously. (Probably the best place to look for this would be the eps right before they went to SS, and putting Ryo and Yoshino's pictures seperately.)
  • Yamamato and Chojiro (their credits montage)
  • Unohana and Isane (their credits montage)
  • Komamura and Iba (their credits montage)
  • The lesser Kurosaki family members.
  • Ururu, Jinta, and Tessai

The credits montages would of course require clear shots without text all over them. I'll try to find what I can off of my CD archives, but help would be greatly appreciated. --tjstrf talk 04:46, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

Shinji and Isshin

Wikipedia isn't an idictator for notability. Shinji and Isshin are just as unnotable as Momo and Kira. His article won’t get any better, and the Vizard page ‘’’needs’’’ him if it wants to make B-Class. He’s only notable for training Ichigo, and Isshin for being his father. Outside of that they have no notability. And spoilers isn’t a reason for merging or not merging. Artist Formerly Known As Whocares 12:01, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Very well. Articles that are still stubs will get merged afterwards, though. Artist Formerly Known As Whocares 12:16, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

Fair use disputed for Image:Yahiko2.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Yahiko2.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

Re: Suffixes

Actually, not all suffixes signify closeness. The suffix -san is actually a sign of distance and respect; it's what you'd call a stranger. To leave off the suffix is what would indicate closeness in that situation, hence the reason why some characters refer to each other without. Rei someimes uses the -chan and sometimes doesn't; there's probably a really subtle cultural nuance in there that I don't grasp. But it makes total sense for Haruka and Michiru, since elegance is their whole motif, to address each other by first name only. All the intimacy, none of the trappings. --Masamage 17:27, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Bleach Improvements

Well, yeah, they do need condensed. Actually, I think Ichigo shouldn't have one at all, because, sine he is the character the entire series in centered around, it would be hard to say anything plot-wise about him without actually making it too detailed. Take Naruto Uzumaki, as an example. We really should try to model Ichigo and the other main character's articles after his. Artist Formerly Known As Whocares 18:33, 22 September 2007 (UTC)

Canvassing isn't likely to help, but thanks for the heads-up. As for your question, I suppose it's a matter of preference. The dub uses the definite article, but I don't see it as necessary. — Someguy0830 (T | C) 03:19, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Hisagi.. captain of the 9th division? O.O

Hi! I just saw that you noted Hisagi being the captain of the 9th division Shinigami_(Bleach) but I really can't remember him being promoted! The only thing I remember is the conversation between him and Ukitake when Rukia and Orihime were training in Soul Society. But if I remember well, then he merely said that he was just taking over some of the things that Tousen used to do. But that doesn't make him a captain right? I mean, he didn't even have that captains robe on.. I'm a bit confused now :) Twsl 19:18, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to revert it now because the arc is Hueco Mundo and one 'possible' filler doesn't warrant a new section nor a new arc. About Aizen's Status..

I read ur discussion on the main Bleach article page, and I was wondering can we reach an agreement that once the Dub has aired, We rename the Arrancarr section of the character template to Antagonists, and move Aizen, Gin, and Tosen there? Cuz me and YnHockey had the discussion on the Talk page for the List of characters. So, can me, you YH and the others reach an agreement about Aizen's status in December?
