Suletta status edit

Hello! Do I understand correctly that you are suggesting that we still proceed from the fact that Suletta is the real daughter of Prospera, until further disclosure of this topic introduces any new adjustments to the canon? Solaire the knight (talk) 12:08, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply

I don't get where this "real daughter" business is coming from. They've stated several times that Suletta is Prospera's daughter and in episode 14, Belmeria inquires about "another daughter" (もう一人、娘さん). I haven't seen anything that suggests that one of them is a fake daughter. Hamuko (talk) 12:12, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I think people are assuming that either Suletta is her clone (we don't know how the universe treats clones or genetically modified humans), or that any information that she is her daughter is just a formality. For example, the phrase "other daughter" could imply that she knows that Suletta is not the right girl. But again, we have no information other than speculation and at the moment we have not been given any details of Suletta's birth or who her father/parents were if she was born after the incident. Solaire the knight (talk) 12:19, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Well, the information that we have is that Suletta is Prospera's daughter. That's stated in so many episodes that it'd take a really concentrated effort to claim that we don't know if Suletta is Prospera's daughter.
And even if Suletta was a clone (which we don't know), a clone is just an orgamism with an identical DNA, or near identical DNA, to its original. In that sense, it's not that much different from identical twins. Surely a clone of your daughter would also be your daughter?
And even if she was not a biological daughter of Prospera (as in she has another mother) but Prospera is legally her parent, would that not still make her Prospera's second daughter? If you adopt a daughter, she would definitely be called your "daughter", right? Hamuko (talk) 12:25, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
This is already a very strong semantics, which looks like an attempt to keep the thesis in a roundabout way. The initial dispute was whether Suletta was the original daughter of Prospera from the prologue, or at least her biological daughter. But for now, I just wanted to clarify your motivation for defining the user's edits as headcanon and I assume that we will have no reason to argue as long as the plot does not comment in any way on where Suletta came from and whether she could be the daughter of another father (I already see how many speculations this opens) or other parents. Solaire the knight (talk) 12:30, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
The headcanon came from the comments "real daughter", as that implies that Suletta is not a real daughter and that's not stated anywhere, and "Ericht's remains", which implies that Eri has died, also not stated anywhere and Prospera comments on how Eri is right besides Suletta and merely given a new body.
Also, it's not even wild science fiction for Suletta to be the daughter of Elnora and Nadim Samaya. Freezing one's sperm is a completely viable scientific method in our regular world and could lead to someone fathering a child posthumously.
As far as I am concerned, Suletta and Ericht should both be considered Prospera's daughters, and that Ericht shouldn't be treated like she has died at some point. Hamuko (talk) 12:37, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please don't start counter speculation. We have already agreed that we will treat her as her daughter until any significant information is released. You are now starting the opposite speculation, similarly referring to things that weren't mentioned on the show but "could have been". I want to remind you that we are still trying to write a neutral article about the show in accordance with the rules of wikipedia, and not argue about whose view of the plot is more right. Solaire the knight (talk) 12:42, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I'm merely pointing out that there are completely legitimate arguments that can be made against these claims of a "real daughter". Hamuko (talk) 12:44, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
I don't need "arguments", this is not a fan forum about the content of the show (especially if they are as much speculation as pure speculation that Suletta is not her daughter). It is enough for me that we leave this moment as it is until any clarifications of her real position appear. Solaire the knight (talk) 12:58, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
You were the one coming on my talk page with speculation such as "Suletta is the real daughter of Prospera". Hamuko (talk) 12:59, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
Please stop taking this too personally. This is not a battlefield. All I did was try to clarify your motivation to avoid any misunderstandings. And even agreed with this. I do not need counterarguments against theses which I have not even stated. Not to mention the wiki is not the place for this. Solaire the knight (talk) 13:03, 16 April 2023 (UTC)Reply
