Preview button edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. In the future, it is recommended that you use the preview button before you save; this helps you find any errors you have made, reduces edit conflicts, and prevents clogging up recent changes and the page history. Capital letters edit

Hi, may I ask why you changed many capital letters to lower case in these edits? For titles of English works, the usual rule is to capitalise words of four letters or more. The usual way to write the names of Pakistani films seems to be capitalising all the words; e.g. see the examples within Category:Pakistani films. Either way, it doesn't look right to use a capital only for the first word. – Fayenatic (talk) 17:42, 14 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi again, you seem to be a great fan of Sabiha Khanum. I can sympathise, as my own user name is based on another star! However, please try to write from the head rather than the heart, in a way that is objective and demonstrable. It would also be helpful if you could cite good newspapers or reference books, not just contributing your personal knowledge. Hope this helps, – Fayenatic (talk) 20:52, 19 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
