Ren & Stimpy edit

Hi, though I see you've resubmitted the content with more references,[1] I'm still having trouble finding where any reliable sources say: 1) After people claimed that two episodes on the second disc were not complete uncensored, Turbine Classics offered to send everybody who contacts them an uncensored disc. 2) Since this release is the first one having all scenes ever broadcast worldwide, it is the first really uncensored DVD release. Maybe it's my eyes. Thanks, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 21:30, 19 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

You can trust me, I speak german fluently (better than english :P) and it's definitely what they were talking. The 34 page long discussion in the forum took me a very long time to go through (4 hours or more). You can use Google translator and translate the whole pages or passages of the texts from sources 1 & 2.
On movie-censorship.com is in the episode descriptions the information about the cuts in the german DVD compared to the US ones, example: Ren's Toothache(I quoted as reference the main site which leads to the cuts of each one episode which were made in the US (& other countries)). Now you read my bad english, so if there are other grammar mistakes or whatsoever please change them correctly :D H8149 (talk) 22:16, 19 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Yeah, almost forgot: the first people who claimed that the episodes weren't uncensored were on Amazon.de and then it spread to Turbine Media's Facebook page and the to the forum. H8149 (talk) 22:18, 19 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
There's even one english review here. BUT I have to tell you, that english Parts which haven't been in the german Master are shown in eng Dub with ger Sub (never dubbed in german). And the parts which are exclusive german are in both the german and english audio track in german dubbed without english subtitles -> That's because they had to cut every episode many times (put the US-Master with the german Master) and didn't have the time to do the subtitles and because this is a german release and not an english one the didn't need to do it for the german audience. H8149 (talk) 22:31, 19 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
The concern I have is this: Discussion forums are not considered reliable sources. For us to say "After people claimed that two episodes...were not completely uncensored", we would need a reliable source that says that explicitly, not chatter on a discussion forum. And for us to draw the conclusion "it is the first really uncensored DVD release", that must also be stated explicitly in a reliable source. We are not allowed to draw our own conclusions or connect the dots on our own, that is considered original research. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 18:15, 20 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Why is this forum not reliable? Christian B., the one who started the discussion, is an employee at Turbine and was one of the people who had to deal with the Ren & Stimpy release and answered many questions there. :::Forum.cinefacts.com is a website where employees of publisher are comunicating with the customers. As I said, the first people who said that the episodes were cut, where on amazon.de.
Here is the news that Turbine offered an uncensored disc for the accidentaly censored disc. Btw. this website is the german version (and original) of movie-censorship.com.
It is the first really uncensored version because they mixed the US Master with the german: the scenes that were not on the US DVD but were aired on nickelodeon Germany had been cut extra into the episodes, which made them to the longest episides on DVD. H8149 (talk) 08:39, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

November 2014 edit

Hello, I'm Dcbanners. I noticed that you made a change to an article, The Fairly OddParents (season 9), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Tumblr is not a reliable source. Fast & Furious Animated Series edit

Double checked a third time. Thought I'd try something different so I logged out of my Netflix account and, lo and behold, the title you mentioned showed up when I went to the url. So it appears that the Spy Racers title only appears when one goes to the show's page while logged out. – BoogerD (talk) 20:46, 7 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

I only visited the website in Firefox' private mode and Google also listed it's title to me. Netflix' system is not really great. --H8149 (talk) 20:57, 7 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
