July 2013 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Talk That Talk, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you to seek consensus for certain edits. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 02:01, 1 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Unapologetic, without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Dan56 (talk) 10:30, 1 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

With regards to this, according to whom? Template:Infobox_album#Genre doesn't say anything about alphabetical order, unless the example "Rock, pop" is in such an order. Help me out. Apparently I don't know "D and E come before P in the English alphabet". Dan56 (talk) 11:00, 1 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Chapter II (Ashanti album), without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Flat Out let's discuss it 11:13, 1 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

August 2013 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or reliable sources, you may be blocked from editing. Dan56 (talk) 15:05, 4 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Dude, seriously, please stop genre warring. Stop pushing your point of view and reaching for OR and other poorly sourced edits to tactlessly slap "R&B" in the infobox of Whitney Houston album articles. Edits like these indicate that, since you cherry picked "R&B" out of a genre list that also included "pop/rock", which is why it shouldn't be used as a source (WP:ALBUMS/SOURCE#Sources to avoid), although reading the review would give you enough sense to avoid using it ("...she attempts to make a larger foray into dance music..."???) Dan56 (talk) 15:15, 6 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by inserting your personal analysis and genre warring in an article, as you did at Whitney (album), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Dan56 (talk) 19:56, 6 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

October 2013 edit

Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Beyoncé Knowles, without providing a source and without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. © Tbhotch (en-2.5). 15:37, 26 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

November 2013 edit

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding continued genre changing without discussion or sources. If you choose to continue, as you did at Russian Roulette (song), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Ruby Murray 10:38, 12 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
