Nomination of Crux Mathematicorum for deletion

Your changes on 2 (number)

Thanks for adding all the missing references to many number properties... That was a lot of work.

But I would like to know why you changed the third and fifth Perrin numbers. into the second and fourth Perrin numbers, when the page on perrin numbers and the OEIS sequence, both give this list: 3, 0, 2, 3, 2, 5, 5, 7, 10... Although in OEIS, the first index is 0, you would have to name 3 the zeroth Perrin number, and that doesn't sound right. Dhrm77 (talk) 14:09, 6 June 2016 (UTC)

The article 616 (number) has a similar problem. You list 616 as the 29th member of the Padovan sequence, when it looks like it is the 30th member according to OEIS and the 25th member according to wikipedia's Padovan sequence, unless you want to name the first 1 as the zeroth member... 12 was listed as the ninth Perrin number, 17 was listed as the tenth Perrin number, and 39 was listed as the thirteenth, making 3 the zeroth. I tried to make it more consistent by listing 2 as the second and fourth Perrin numbers. The Padovan sequence starts at different places in Wikipedia and OEIS. I thought it would also start at the zeroth number in the OEIS. Personally, I don't really like the use of "zeroth number", that just seems wrong...

Regarding the Padovan sequence, since there doesn't seem to be a consensus regarding where the sequence starts, maybe we shouldn't mention at all the place of any number in that sequence, just saying that it is part of the sequence. What do you think? Dhrm77 (talk) 13:07, 7 June 2016 (UTC)

This discussion should have taken place on the talk page of GMO fish so others can find it (Talk:Genetically_modified_fish). Can one of you move it there, please? In the edit note, it says, "user explained it", but since it is not on the talk page, editors have no idea what explanation was made. So we have to go the extra step to hunt it down to find the explanation here. Yes, I agree the explanation would have been better in the edit note the first time, but since it is not it should go to the article talk page. Thanks. Note about a revert you made that was caused by this IP address

This IP address I'm posting from belongs to Sprint Wireless (for their mobile devices). I thought I'd let you know that someone in the past with a mobile device (or an app that did it intentionally) probably had decided to vandalize at some point in time. I'm being kind by posting this (and hoping whoever, or whatever, did this doesn't do it again).
