GulfamUlRehman, you are invited to the Teahouse edit

Hi GulfamUlRehman! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.
Be our guest at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a friendly space where new editors can ask questions about contributing to Wikipedia and get help from peers and experienced editors. I hope to see you there! Benzband (I'm a Teahouse host)

Welcome! edit

Hello, GulfamUlRehman, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few links to pages you might find helpful:

Please remember to sign your messages on talk pages by typing four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!

Just a word of caution: I've noticed that you've cleaned up or simplified wording in a number of places. That's usually a good thing and a help to the project, so thank you. But please be careful not to alter wording of direct quotations within quote marks, as you did at Hurrian songs; a quotation needs to say exactly what the original says, however poor the English used by the original author (and in this case it was anyway fine). Have fun here! Justlettersandnumbers (talk) 21:31, 12 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Opting in to VisualEditor edit

As you may know, VisualEditor ("Edit beta") is currently available on the English Wikipedia only for registered editors who choose to enable it. Since you have made 50 or more edits with VisualEditor this year, I want to make sure that you know that you can enable VisualEditor (if you haven't already done so) by going to your preferences and choosing the item, "MediaWiki:Visualeditor-preference-enable". This will give you the option of using VisualEditor on articles and userpages when you want to, and give you the opportunity to spot changes in the interface and suggest improvements. We value your feedback, whether positive or negative, about using VisualEditor, at Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Thank you, Whatamidoing (WMF) (talk) 20:22, 11 October 2013 (UTC)Reply
