Editing Concerns edit

  1. Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your test worked, and it has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you may want to do. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Kukini 05:22, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
  2. Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to Bellaire High School (Bellaire, Texas). It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you. ShakingSpirittalk 05:26, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply
  3.
    This is your last warning.
The next time you vandalize a page, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Your edits make this account appear to be a vandalism-only account. Please desist. Kukini 05:27, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of Westside High School (Houston) because of disruptive edits to Wikipedia. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism, including page blanking or addition of random text, spam, or deliberate misinformation; privacy violations; personal attacks; and repeated and blatant violations of WP:NPOV will not be tolerated on Wikipedia. ShakingSpirittalk 05:36, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hey, Guitar. You must back up what you put on Wikipedia. See Wikipedia:Verifiability WhisperToMe 05:49, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

As of right now, let's not make any more edits. Let's do some Wikipedia tutorials! WhisperToMe 05:51, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

A good start, would be to avoid Point of View (POV) edits like this [1]. Kukini 05:53, 26 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Notice edit

I've deleted Call of Duty Walkthrough; Wikipedia is not a publisher of gaming guides. EVula // talk // // 05:30, 27 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

T. H. Rogers edit

T. H. Rogers goes up to the 12th grade, BUT only for multiply impaired students.

Deaf kids and GT kids go up to 8th. Multiply impaired students stay at T. H. Rogers until grade 12. WhisperToMe 03:41, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

http://dept.houstonisd.org/profiles/RogersTH_MS.pdf only covers the middle and high school. Yes, notice that it goes to grade 12. WhisperToMe 03:45, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

I added alternative and magnet - As the school has both programs. By K-12 I meant the school as a whole. I changed the labels accordingly. "magnet K-12 schools" is now "Alternative and magnet K-12 schools" WhisperToMe 05:20, 6 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Why did I get blocked? edit

I had not edited a single article or user page in around two months and nobody uses my account. I am sure of it!!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Guitarhamster (talkcontribs)

Hey Guitar Hamster!
You have no recent blocks on your account. You might have been caught in an Autoblock: I recently blocked some IPs in the Houston area, and if you edit from one of those, you may have become caught in the block. My apologies. Let me know if you still experience problems editing, and, if so, what IP address you're using (it shows up in the autoblock message). Also, please sign your messages by typing ~~~~.
