Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Draft:Jeff Kaiser (Musician), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content protocols, and may not be retained. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Jeff Kaiser (Musician) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Jeff Kaiser (Musician) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://jeffkaiser.com/. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. @Sphilbrick:Thank you for pointing out my errors with my first attempt at creating this page. I am a fan of Kaiser's and was surprised a page for him hasn't been created yet. I created a second draft "Jeff Kaiser (musician)" that I believe has better references. If that specific page is still problematic then I'll gladly fix the issue -- Guaguanco127 (talk) 21:46, 23 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
Guaguanco127, Thanks for responding. I can't quite follow what is happened to the various versions, but my focus these days is on copyright so I will let someone else sort it out. references are important, but I do want to mention that references are not a cure for copyright. With some rare exceptions, the content should be written in your own words. S Philbrick(Talk) 12:33, 24 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

June 2020 edit

just to let you know two things: firstly, your draft article for Jeff Kaiser should use a lower-case for the disambiguator, i.e. Jeff Kaiser (musician). Secondly, Discogs is simply proof of an album's existence, not proof that it is notable. AllMusic is fine if there is a critic's rating and review, but otherwise it tells you nothing... so your article for Nothing Is Not Breath: Music for Double Quartet currently fails WP:NALBUM and may be nominated for deletion. Please make sure you have at least one reliable source for each album article. Thank you. Richard3120 (talk) 21:23, 17 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Richard3120:Thank you for your comments on notability. I am still learning the ropes, but I'm a fan of Kaiser's works as he's a prolific musician and I was surprised a wiki page didn't exist yet. Thank you for the info about discogs. I have found an allmusic.com review that I added. Additionally, I found other reviews from allaboutjazz.com, and other locations Are these sources ok? Do reviews prove that it is notable? -- Guaguanco127 (talk) 21:48, 23 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
I have updated the Jeff Kaiser (musician) page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Jeff_Kaiser_(musician)) with new sources that are not closely associated with the subject. Is this draft in better shape? -- Guaguanco127 (talk) 21:49, 23 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
