Some edit

I like some it indicates somewhere between 0.01 and 0.99 and in The Holocaust page that's about all we can agree on ATM. Alatari (talk) 19:37, 28 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Help edit

I'm a History grad student (OK, so I've had to drop out for lack of fund), with some experience here at Wikipedia (I'm an admin). Please allow me offer to help you in any way I can. Just stick a note on my talk page, as access to e-mail is often problematic. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:01, 30 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Reference problem edit

You deleted your own reference [1] at a time when there was no <references/> or equivalent on the page, so the reference was never displayed. Now that Orange Mike has added <references/> in [2], the reference will be displayed if you place it on the page. PrimeHunter 00:17, 1 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

The referenced URL is to a blacklisted site. --Orange Mike | Talk 05:34, 1 December 2007 (UTC)Reply
Thank you both for your help. I knew I had deleted my own reference, PrimeHunter--just so you don't think I'm an idiot! I deleted it until I could make it work properly. Which it seems to be doing now. What I didn't know was that simply adding the <reference/> tag would make the footnotes work. Now I know. :-)
I also listed the blacklisted website in simple text format, so that someone could find it if they wanted, but the link doesn't go directly there. Thanks again! Grumpy otter 11:42, 1 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I saw your post [3] at User talk:Orangemike. Click "Search" (not Enter or "Go") below the search box. In the search results page, you can select the namespaces to search at the bottom and search again. I guess your blacklist post is at http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Talk:Spam_blacklist#deathcamps.org. This is not at Wikipedia so a Wikipedia search would not find it, and a post there cannot be attributed to your Wikipedia account. The page MediaWiki talk:Spam-blacklist is at Wikipedia. Posting to talk pages edit

Please put new posts at the bottom, not the top, of the page. I moved your notes on the Sobibor talk page. --Orange Mike | Talk 16:35, 3 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

I am awarding you this WikiCookie for your constructive edits on Wikipedia--LAAFan 16:37, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

I got a cookie? How cool! Very pretty cookie! But yuck!--it tastes kind of cold and dusty. But thank you anyway! Grumpy otter (talk) 16:39, 23 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
