RE: Frusciante discography FLC edit

I commented on the list; looks good so far, but needs just a little tweaking and prodding to get featured. I don't have any projects that really need feedback right now except for Nirvana discography, but that's close to being wrapped up and has the required number of supports already anyway. However, if I need any feedback in the future I'll be sure to ask. --Brandt Luke Zorn 06:01, 24 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Alt-rock genres edit

Thanks for your comments on the alternative rock talk page; i've put a lot of work into the article since I started here so long ago. Personally I think I need to do a lot of work on alternative rock before we take it to FAC; it was my first GA and now that I have more experience, I can see places where I need to fix it up. There's also the unavoidable obstacle that some aspects of the genre aren't satisfactorily covered by sources (one example is that there's a penchant to ignore all alt-rock outside of the US, and determining where the genre's name came from took a lot of effort). However, there's one alt-rock genre article I feel confident we can turn into a FA with less work: Britpop. I actually worked on it quite a bit last year, but I got burned out halfway through working on it (you might be able to point out where I stopped in the article). It's a better documented and more clearly defined genre than its parent genre, so it's easier to use other genre pages as a model. I defnitely want there to be another genre FA for the project, and that seems like the best bet. WesleyDodds 05:46, 15 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
